have you noticed that every one of the UConn fans here have avoided answering my question about "Did MM's mom sell "UConn" handbags"?
Really odd how some sports fans get hung up on different types clothing or accessories. For some it's knickers or petticoats, and for others it seems to be handbags.
Is it a crime to own a handbag business? I guess to some paranoid types, it's a sign of moral depravity, and Kelly Moore must have been really sick to go into that type of business. You know that after all the other hundreds of charges that were filed against Geno and his team to almost no effect, if Pat thought there was any issue with Kelly Moore's handbags, she would have gone after that angle too. But yes, Americans are within their rights to have a handbag business, and if no special arrangements are made by school officials, the NCAA does not have an issue with athlete's parents even selling their products in a store on college property. If say DD's dad wants to come out with a "Diamonds Are Forever" necklace and sell it in the VolShop, that's all fine as long as Holly and staff don't go opening doors for him.
So yeah, some fans talk about baskets, others talk about handbags.
