Seriously, Is Being too Good Really So Bad?

have you noticed that every one of the UConn fans here have avoided answering my question about "Did MM's mom sell "UConn" handbags"?

Really odd how some sports fans get hung up on different types clothing or accessories. For some it's knickers or petticoats, and for others it seems to be handbags.

Is it a crime to own a handbag business? I guess to some paranoid types, it's a sign of moral depravity, and Kelly Moore must have been really sick to go into that type of business. You know that after all the other hundreds of charges that were filed against Geno and his team to almost no effect, if Pat thought there was any issue with Kelly Moore's handbags, she would have gone after that angle too. But yes, Americans are within their rights to have a handbag business, and if no special arrangements are made by school officials, the NCAA does not have an issue with athlete's parents even selling their products in a store on college property. If say DD's dad wants to come out with a "Diamonds Are Forever" necklace and sell it in the VolShop, that's all fine as long as Holly and staff don't go opening doors for him.

So yeah, some fans talk about baskets, others talk about handbags.

It is in the file trip to ESPN was a violation minor but you can't take it back. It was a violation that happened when she was being recruited.

If you check the NCAA files you will find that Tennessee has more recruiting violations over the last ten years than UConn. All of them "minor," just like UConn's.

Do you really think it is necessary to respond to every jackass that is standing in the middle of a pasture heehawing his same silly tune?

It's clear that the older generation still holds on to all the drama that happened so long ago....can we ever let all this unecessary bickering go? Truth be told none of us really knows 100% what went down except for Pat and Geno.

Tainted victorys , How we wonder Is Gee no a cheating liar? In the morrow comes the daylight. Tainted victories be recalled.

I want take your word for that and anyway who cares the major ones where UConn didn't get caught are the ones that really mattered and they will never be punished for so move on UConn fans nothing to see here.
I am in agreement with Geno that UConn fans are a bunch of morons.

I like most of your WCBB comments very much. Insightful and knowledgeable IMO.

its Kathryn Moore

It's not a bad thing. Coaches will say it's bad because they can't get out of their players what Geno gets out of his. And they have more HS AA's than Geno.....

What they do at Storrs is the same thing everybody else is doing, they just do it better.... They have a great group of coaches that demand the best, expect the best and actually coach.

Maybe CHW and her staff should go to his camps and practices to see how it's done. Heck, he took from Pat the idea of practicing his teams against guys. I think Pat was the first in WCBB to do that.

does that hurt yer little feelings, bball? Aren't you precious! lol

You ever post anything of value, or is your purpose for posting only to let people know how immature you are? Another internet tough guy heard from, and an ignorant one at that.

.....and for the record, nothing you say hurts my feeling. I always consider the source, and in this case, the source continues to make a fool of himself.

2 days later and that's all you could come up with?

lol

internet insults? That's real mature.

I agree with the principle of your post. A male coach has a distinct advantage over a female coach when coaching females. A male coach can be tough even brutal where a female coach cannot due to natural differences in temperament. CPS was the closest to this kind of male toughness. This is why Geno was able to make an All-American out of Tina Charles. The only other female coach that could have done this is CPS. BTW, all four Final Four coaches are male.

Female coaches can't be tough, because of their temperament? What?

That's right, 2 days. Apparently, I have a little more going on in my life than you. Can't spend all day on message boards having battles of wit with unarmed people. Your game is lame.
