Getting Drayton from UF didn't do any good. UT's RBs haven't done anything yet. Drayton better get it going soon.

As for Drayton, I would suggest that we make a hard push for Chris Beatty @ WVU as the RB coach. The guy is a recruiting stud. He has four and five stars leaving Virginia for WVU. Hurry, Beamer will be calling him soon.

Jimmy Johnson just bought some river front property on the tennessee River. He is tired of catching tuna and wahoo. He said he wanted to get into catfish and crappie. Good sign for UT!!!!!

Serious though....he would be my 1st call. $4 mill a year will make people think!

You obviously don't know much about football. People always want to throw Clawson under the bus cause he's the new guy. Well guess what this program was in trouble way before Clawson came in. And look who he has to work with. Crompton is horrible and i guarantee Fulmer is pulling his strings. Clawson will be good. We just need a good HEAD COACH alond with anew DC. Holtz couldn't handle the UT job.

I wouldn't say we were in trouble last year going to the SECCG and almost beating the National Champion. I am not putting the blame on Clawson, but I am pretty sure Cutcliffe would be doing a better job right now. Clawson needs some time, but like a stated before it will take him time to adjust to the big time stage. Did you see him during the UCLA game? He looked like he was about to cry. I am all for a new coach just like everyone else, but bringing in a coach like Skip won't get us wins quickly. I am sorry I am not as knowledgeable as you in football. I didn't know calling out your OC for not being able to handle the pressure of SEC football was a lack of football knowledge.

this Skip Holtz stuff is ridiculous

:lolabove:Super Skippy can be credited with at least part of the failure his daddy's regime was with the GAME COCKS. The offensive schemes he and his daddy developed and the talent they were able to recruit couldn't handle the talent level in the SEC.. Don't think that has improve with such a short tenure at a second or third tier 1-A team. Didn't Super Skippy's team have to pack a whipping home from NCState, the doormat of their conference.

Losing by 6 points at NC State is better than losing by .01 to UCLA anywhere.

Heck, we could bring in Joe Paterno!! Rumor has it that it's getting a bit too cold for him in Happy Valley and he is looking for a warmer climate!!

I live in Greenville, NC. (TN grad 94, ECU grad 2001). Skip has turned around the ECU program 100% using local recruits, and a veteran coaching staff that teaches how to tackle and hold onto the ball. He just recieved an extension and considerable raise to 1.2 mil / year. After watching ECU go 1-11 and 2-10 before Skip's arrival, I hope he never leaves. When he does leave ECU, he'll probably want to go to Notre Dame. Go Vols !

I like this idea. look what he done with Miami and Dallas while he was coaching. he is a good motivator and a discipline coach. Its to bad Jerry Jones would not let him run the team by him self.

I hope he stays there as well after he just got dominated by Houston today.
