Would I be considered not a true Vol fan if I were to play a round of golf next Saturday instead of sitting in front of the TV and watching Florida humiliate us again?

Either we get to see the Vols upset the Gators or we get to see Fulmer take more heat from the home crowd than he has ever faced in his life. It's a win-win from where I sit. I'll watch.

Headset? If you aren't playing in a tour event, I question your priorities.

You could DVR the game, play golf, and then watch them humiliate us in half the time later.

No you could still be a fan, just a fair weather sort. No problem with those who pick and choose when to cheer for the VOLS, especially if you have the wherewithal to admit such, as you seem to have.

I don't believe you are alone and if you look around the course (if in Tenn) you might see a few more.

Personally I hope you all run to the club house when you get the news the VOLS are up cause I'll be right in front of my set cheering like there is no tomorrow for the VOLS!

Well said. I can't think of a better thing to do than watch TN football on a Saturday afternoon, regardless of what I think the outcome will be.

Unless its Augusta and Hooters girls are tending the pin.

And even then only if Tiger is in your foursome.

I can't question if you are a true fan, because only you know the answer to that one. I would however question your love of the sport.

Sounds like you know it's wrong if you have to ask a bunch of people over the internet. But seriously, if you're positive they'll lose don't watch it.
