If Jones and company couldn't win the east this year, then when will they? The east was pathetic, abnormally bad. Yes I understand injuries, never in a million years did I expect this team to hang with Alabama. But to get beat by muschamp coming off a bye week? I get it some of you want to blame Hurd but shouldn't Jones shoulder that blame for allowing it to go on long enough to effect team chemistry? Next year this team travels to Bama and UF, Georgia will be tougher next year they're killing it on the recruiting trail. Not to mention Tennessee will be hosting LSU, oh and how about this defense, think they're going to lay the smack down on Georgia Techs rushing attack on labor day? I think Butch has reached his ceiling here and I don't think he likes the pressures and the crazy expectations that come with being an SEC HC. Im being serious when I say this, I look for Jones to shop around for a new job after Saturday win or lose. Is that ideal? No, we have a lame duck AD whos pissed about not having his contract extended. You don't want Hart hiring a new coach of course all of this is hypothetical but if it were to happen what would you do? Me personally, I'd find an intern coach for a season to fill the void until the higher offices are filled.

I think he's laughing because the answers are already posted, you just have to do a little reading.

Half of the posters on here just woke up from a coma and saw our score and defensive stats then post their stupidity. It's dripping with ignorance. We have 1 healthy DT, ONE. It is difficult to stop the run with DE playing DT in SEC and a couple weeks to prepare. Enjoy the win real Vol fans.

Vol fans wanted the SEC Championship this year but Florida backs in and the posters on this site go full retard.

How many of these same threads can we get in 24 hours? That's my question!

Well, Serious question and Real question was started within 5 minutes of each other. Too early to do the math, but I would say a bunch.

I don't know where I sit on this. SC loss is inexcusable. At same time now playing without entire first and second string DT's and LB rotation is down to 3rd and 4th string.

I just haven't seen this ever with TN. Out of the All SEC types...only DB and Dobbs played every game.

I don't know if it is the new equipment from NIKE, the S&C coach, technique, but I just don't see how you can have this many ankle injuries.

I stand frm on my day one opinion of Jones... he'll never win the SEC.

I appreciate what he's done in turning around the mess Mike Hamilton created, but I think he's a perennial 7-9 win guy.

I hope I'm wrong, I like Butch as the face of the program and the off field discipline he's brought to the program.

I just think he's way too stubborn. Running a spread/zone offense with Justin Worley showed me a lot about his lack of coaching around the team's strengths.

Playing guys like Worley ahead of Dobbs and Hurd ahead of Kamara is frustrating as well

I'm just curious what Florida will do when Geoff Collins leaves. Their offense is bad and defense can't win games for you forever

CBJ will be okay the day he learns his loyalty at all cost will kill him. Unfortunately it might take him getting fired to realize it. He also needs to stop coaching the atlete out of the athlete. If he can do these two things he will be successful because he can recruit.
