We had 13 players honored on Senior Day. Would have been 14 had Danny O not been 420 friendly.

For the "Far Butch" crowd, I looked up how many seniors were on the 16 teams ranked ahead of us in the NCAA poll. The average is 21. That's 50% more than the 14 we should have had.

Want to know how Mich, Col, and Nebraska have come on so strong? How about their 43, 30, and 27 seniors?

Bammers had 24 (+2 left early for NFL Draft), Clemson 20 (+7), and OSU 18 (+9).

3 years ago, I would have taken being in contention in the East and a 10-3 record for 2016.

The next two years will be when I'll judge Butch. His first year, he was such a late hire that you can't compare that recruiting class to later ones and having 3rd and 4th string guys forced to play this year should payoff next. Plus, our number of potential senior leaders will swell.

Carry on...and kick Vandy's arse!!!

not good if most of your (good/leaders) juniors jump to the NFL, though...

Seriously? I think a HUGE (I mean Trump HUGE) majority of us WISH we had talent at Bammer/OSU/Clemson level.

I agree with OP. Then again doesn't OSU have alot of young talent or did a couple of yrs ago when they won the title

Yes, that's why they had 9 declare for the draft as juniors. We aren't quite at that talent level.

Per espn.com roster, we'll have 29 seniors next year.
