Meighan Simmons will play her final regular season home game as a Lady Vol on Sunday, as #4/5 South Carolina (26-2/14-1 SEC) comes to town for a 2:35 p.m. contest at Thompson-Boling Arena vs. #10/9 Tennessee (23-5/12-3 SEC).SIMMONS FEATURE

I wonder if she will be showing those butterflies during the game? I hope Simmons will play under control & not try to do too much to push for a win. She doesn't need to prove anything to anyone about how she plays the game of basketball. She needs to relax & let the game come to her & play her game which benefits the team at best. But I also say good luck to the LVs team as a whole because they will have to play imo the best game of the year tomorrow.

and I've grown three plus years older since she carried the LVs as a freshman against Louisville early in her freshman year. Time sure does go fast.

Been a Simmons fan since she came as a freshman. I feel she has been the most exciting player since Parker. Saw her parents once at an SEC game and I stopped to tell them how a great a person and player she is. My best wishes for her. Pray the WNBA will snatch her up and support her style of play.

too bad her fellow recruit, Lauren Avant didn't continue with UT to help Meighan out. Avant was an excellent pg. She left when Pat S. declared massengale the starter before ever making it to Knoxville.

Pat messed up bigtime.

I have no idea and yet will venture that Massengale is the better player. Massengale has big-time talent--the best point guard UT has had in a long time-- but needs to be more of a leader/warrior...

This isn't even remotely true. Look at where Avant ended up.
