If you have a difference in opinion you might as well not post on here you'll get bashed, cursed, and harassed then when you stick up for yourself you'll get a ban. I just turn off my notifications when someone quotes my comments, I have bi-polar disorder and when people run their mouth its a trigger for me, no sense in a message board ruining my day....would just stay off here but there's some on here I enjoy talking with

I agree.

There's a lot of reasons to be negative for several years now (concerning the football program) but that has seeped into the posts on this board, creating a much less enjoyable atmosphere.

Why does VolNation have to be like reading an article on a news site (take your pick of the litter) and then the arguing and attacking back and forth in the comments of the article? Why can't this be what it was before, a place to come and kick some UT football stuff back and forth, without being ugly to each other?

And before you say something about ugly, yes, this is my God given resting face.

I think the forum really calmed down after football started and we weren't all hammering each other about the virus and lockdown and stuff. It was like warfare in here during the summer. At least Pruitt gave us a reason to stop throwing darts at each other.
I still remember thinking we were going to have a breakout season this year.

Frank Reynolds used to be the ABC NEWS anchor when I was a kid and my dad watched it every evening. He died young of cancer, and the eulogy video from ABC NEWS showed Reynolds' favorite possession was a framed letter from a watcher that hung in his office. It simply stated, "Don't let the bastards get you down."
Stuck with me and that was maybe 40 years ago and I was 10 or younger.

The only way to prevent stupid posts is to attack the poster and fill them with regret for their stupidity
