Hey all, so I just purchased tickets for Thursday night’s game. It will be my 8 year old’s first game… our tickets are in section D. Honestly, we typically don’t sit that close… Will these seats be ok? Is that the student section, and should I be worried that it will be “in appropriate” for an eight year old?

I think section D is one of the student sections, but isn’t the only one. Not sure how they’ll behave. I’d say it might be more tame because it’s Bowling Green we are playing, not some big rival.

D is student section, but great seats. Since this isn't against Florida, I would expect the student section to be relatively tame. However, you may want to be prepared, students tend to stand the whole game.

What row?

Might be a smaller turnout for students because many will head home early for labor day weekend. Those that will show up will likely be sauced, so you may want to think about the possibility of sliding into another section if you see some openings.

Should be fine, If not there will be plenty of empty seats you can go to

We have seats on E 54 and F 55 and in the past students are about 10 rows in front. Has not been issue in the past.

Most of them kids will be on their fancy schmancy cell phones and taking their selfies with their selfie sticks and their internet and their tik taks.

I have never been that low in section D but he should still be great. I don't think there will be a student issue.

You will have good view of the big screen for relays and etc. I hope you have a great time!!

You are going to be behind the BG team, but I think you know that.

I think there are several events planned around D and G Just fyi. Not real sure, but I think they are putting up the statures around there as well.

I don't have any experience, but, I think the earplugs idea is a great idea. Not only do kids have sensitive ears decibel-wise, if it turns out the language is salty, maybe they would block some of it out. Have a great time.

The entire Section D isn’t Students, at least it didn’t used to be. Depends how far back you are I think.

As a parent, I wouldn't move. Why? What a wonderful opportunity you have, should you see something inappropriate, to teach your young child why it's inappropriate and how stupid it looks. Enjoy your seats, they're great seats.!

**Edit** You'll also find many of the students leave at half time.
