Secret for 360 Red ring

I had the three red lights and turned to my boy to find out what it was. He says it's getting too hot. So this dude turned off the 360, took out the HDD and slapped the living sh*t out of it!

I looked at him like he was crazy, but every since then I have yet to see the red lights, and that was like 3 months ago. Just give it a few good slaps, it works. How? I don't know

Probably the same reason the towel trick works. Get the solder joints back in good connection while it is hot.

I just got the red rings tonight, ironically enough 10 minutes after my buddy got red rings on his 360. Think I will send it in though rather than slap the sh*t out of it.

OK so I got a little drunk last night and I left my Xbox on for a day and got the red lights. I just slapped the crap out of it and it started working again. Chad003 was online with me when I did it so he can attest to this working. I am letting it rest for a bit now and I hope it works again when I try it later. Will update, god I hope i dont need to send the damn thing in again. This would be #4 if I do.
