No way to view the game that I’m aware. Only news last year came out cryptically the week following the game. No presser. It’s part of the tradition. Kind of a wink, wink deal. I chose to believe it is a memorial to JB McClendon. You talk about it publicly and you lose your right to participate.

These happen every year in college ball with no spectators. There's no secret. They played NC last yr as well.

Tennessee dominated UNC last preseason in a scrimmage. I wouldn’t expect a lot different this time but perhaps we hold out some of starters with the early ranked non-conference games this season. You might get a lot of action from the 2025 freshmen class in this game. They don’t need to focus on winning it.. everyone knows the LVs can beat UNC.

NCAA rules. You’re allowed to hold scrimmages against other D1 teams, but they cannot be publicized or open to the public and results and stats cannot be released.

off topic partially, but the LVs DID NOT play Duke, because I came across a video of their game against the practice squad and Cameron was full of spectators, and the practice squad had excellent players.

and given that the LVs open their season with NC State I feel sure that the scrimmage will not be with that team either.
