Second favorite SEC Team?

Our mutual bros in hate LSU and Auburn are okay. I would rather them have good seasons instead of anyone in the SEC not named Tennessee.

Outside the SEC, I like Oregon and have jumped on the fighting Golden Gophers train for the season.

I get what you are saying, but if this was the case would that not make the SEC like the Big 10 where the argument is always “how is Ohio State,Michigan ranked so high, they don’t play anybody who is any good”. Same is being said about Clemson’s ACC schedule this year. When you’re good in the SEC you don’t hear that argument as everyone knows there are always some good teams on your schedule and if you beat them you have accomplished something.

After yesterday LSU for sure, besides those folks down there love New Orleans and Mardi Gras as much as I do. However it is a tie with Ole Miss as my "other than Tennessee" favorite, had a daughter and son-in-law graduate from there so I have an out-of-state tuition cash investment in Mississippi, and the Grove is the Grove.

Funny but I used to root for Mizzou years ago when I lived in St. Louis. Became a UT fan when I married my wife a UT Alum. In two weeks I'll be rooting hard for UT to beat Mizzou in CoMO. Yesterday watching games I pulled for Minnesota to upset Penn State and of course LSU to beat Alabama. Really hope that the Vols win their final two games to close out regular season at 7-5.

Love LSU #2. Ed O is building a powerhouse. He said last night "This ain't the last time we beat 'em I promise you that." THIS is why we lost a top recruit to lsu.

I hate every SEC team with a better record than us and hope they lose every game. I especially hate UGA.

I always feel sorry for Vandy bc they are such losers so I guess they are second.

I hate the rest of the SEC but if I had to pick one I'd pick Auburn because they hate Bama and UGA as much as we do.

F*** Auburn. They screw us over in recruiting with bagmen time and time again. See Jay Hardy. Hope they never win another game. They’re right up there with Bama, Florida and UGA for me.

Second favorite is LSU in SEC. They went from the mad Hatter to Ed O. I don't understand a word Coach O says, but its nice to see a true fan of his school living the dream of coaching at his school.

I saw a quote (I think on Twitter) that described Coach O as sounding like the Cookie Monster being thrown in a wood chipper.

If it weren't for his shenanigans the night Kiffin bolted, he would be one of my all time favorite coaches

Well, I went to grad school at UK and undergrad at Vandy (sorry boys). They are my co-second favorites. But I was born and raised a Vol fan.

I guess I despise LSU less than the other teams in the conference but their drunk fans ( all of them) can be pretty difficult to deal with. Talked to a Vol fan who went to a game that we lost down there. He said it was tough getting out of there. He said an old lady probably in her 80's threw a full beer can at his car as they were leaving and her elderly friends we're spewing nonstop profanities. He was wondering how bad it would have been if we had won. They hate Alabama and Florida though so they can't be all bad.

I wonder how my list matches up with others in VolNation.

The same Ed O (Coach Yaya) that told our commitments not to enroll in school? I don't think so.

Give me Miss State if anyone as my 2nd favorite in the SEC.

I have a weird method of cheering. I don't like any other SEC team but always root against Bama unless their playing Florida or Georgia. Then I want Bama to win because it makes recruiting harder for Tennessee. I figure Alabama is already the gold standard so it doesn't hurt us if they win those games but I still can't cheer for them no matter what.

I'm with all the ones saying LSU, because they are the only other team that plays my 2 most hated every year, FU and Bama.

I hate every team in the SEC other than Tennessee.

I NEVER root for another SEC team

I NEVER take joy in a biter rival beating someone we couldn't beat ourselves.

I NEVER root for the SEC in the post season.

My favorite teams are Tennessee and Air Force because I grew up in Knoxville, attended UT, marched in the band, graduated from UT....and I was in the Air Force.

Other than those two teams.....I don't have a "favorite" and I don't think there are gradations of hate.
