There is a problem having the second best offense with all of Tennessee's troubles. The other teams see this. If Tennessee decides to keep Dooley through another season and a school with a better record comes calling for Chaney ... do you see him leaving and Tennessee going back to square one.

The offense has more to do with the talent than the coaching. I would have loved to see what someone like Malzahn or Leach could have done as an o coordinator with our talent this year.

If I was any assistant on UT's staff, I'd have my resume out to all Monster, Careerbuilder type sites for guys with those particular skill sets to get some looks.

I guess those sites would be agents beating the bushes for their clients...

This kills me. You can bust them in the chops for the defense but give them a little credit for not screwing up the offense.

This. Aside from the hurry up hindering the defense's time to rest this unit is one of the best in the nation. Not to mention, who was in charge of getting that talent here? I'll give you a hint, aside from the ee of the 2010 class it wasn't Kiffin.

Can't give credit, stuck in negativity mode.

Fire Dooley, Fire Hart, Fire Cheeks, Fire Gruden, oh wait.

I would be surprised if chaney doesn't bolt when someone comes calling. In a sinking ship, you hold on to anything that will keep you afloat...

Serious question. Who recruited all this "talent"?

Yes. Most offenses run just fine without coaching. Tennessee is no different.

We have lots of talent on defense too, but we clearly see how that is working out with just a partial year of poor coaching.

I think the Offense is coached very well. I have little doubt that Malzahn or Leach as an OC would do even better. But, Chaney is doing a good job, nonetheless.

Do you really think it would make a difference whether he is on the sideline, or the press box,...or maybe even in another state?

This part is definitely worth trying, I mean it couldn't be any worse than him being anywhere in the stadium.
