I didn't win, either. I think that it's bull****, too. I'd say 75% of the winners are looking to sale them like they did florida, and instead are just screwing us over.

a lot of them will probably be unused after they realize that it is much harder to scalp them now. you only get a voucher to buy tickets when you pay, then you have to redeem that voucher the day of the game in GA and have two valid student ID's to use that voucher.

I hope you guys get to go. I went my senior year in 97 we the Vols beat Auburn. Maybe the best night of my college career.

Looks like I will be looking for tickets from scalpers...

GREAT.

If I was you, I'd definately head over to the UC tomorrow afternoon and get in line for the tickets that go unclaimed by the winners. Once people realize it's a voucher, there should be a lot left.

I plan on it. I have class at 230, get out at 320. I'll go get some food then head over there.

Thursday is when you can buy unclaimed tickets, I just asked the ticket lady.

Wednesday is when students who registered for the lottery but didn't win, have the chance for any unclaimed tickets.

From the UT website:

"If, after all alternate numbers have been called, there are still tickets available then students who registered for the lottery but did not make the winners or alternates list will be provided the option of purchasing tickets. Students must be present at the Tennessee Auditorium on Wednesday, November 28th at 5:00 p.m. to exercise this option."

By the way, the only time I had to do that was last year for Georgia tickets, and I had no problem getting them. So, good luck to you dickens.

There will plenty of tickets on the street outside CNN center the day before and day of the game. Just walk around, and look for face value or below. Watch for fake tickets from street hustlers.

Im a season ticket holder, and I am guaranteed SECCG tickets. I recieved a letter from VASAF today stating that there is now tracking numbers on the tickets, and they can tell when they are scalped or sold. I have no clue as to HOW, but it said if you sell, or scalp these tickets you will be inelligable to recieve tickets from the University of Tennessee for any event....

WOW

This seems crazy, how in the world could they tell who used it?

I recall getting a letter several years ago from the AD to the same extent regarding season tickets. I believe they monitored ticket sites/ebay online for non-donor tickets and recorded who was reselling them. I think that violates some commerce law or something.

It may be the same with the SECCG tickets as well.
