I think this game is going to be a race to 5 touchdowns for both teams. Both are capable of doing that obviously, but I truly see this game coming down to speacial teams/ feild position/ and a late 4th quarter feild goal. So with that said, I'll go with:

Vols- 38

I think that Mike Hamilton is trying to work something out with the SEC office and bowl executives to keep TN in a New Year's Day Bowl should we lose. Apparently the league adopted a policy last year where the Outback, Cotton and Capital One bowls protect the championship game loser.

i want to say and believe that TN is the "hot" team coming in. they are the team that should be "up" for the game. they come in off a 5 game winning streak and are absolutely THRILLED to be here.

LSU oth comes in off home loss, NT shot dashed, and honestly, having not played all that well in the last 3 meaningful games.

both teams got banged up last weekend. both teams had a lot of emotion, good and bad, after last weekend.

who's hungrier? i'd have to say TN. but i have a bad feeling that after hearing about all that this week that LSU shows up ready to play.

i don't think it's a blow out either way, but LSU has two qb's that can use their legs. Hester, despite everything else, is a gamer. Doucet when healthy is a great WR.

IF we can run against their D we have a chance. if they shut down the run, it could be a long day.

the O line will have to hold up in pass protection against LSU's front. we simply cannot afford to be in 2nd and 3rd and long.

i honestly don't know who will win.......i'm like Hohen......i know what i'm hoping......but i don't know that i can predict it.
