LSU will roll Washington. I love Locker but the quality of players and the depth is not even close.

Oklahoma St. will scare Georgia., but ASU a couple of weeks later will not be in the same league. Georgia will have already been tested by then. Again the talent level is just not close. Okie St. is very skilled on offense.

Out of these games I see NC st. as the most likely upset. USCe is on the way down, far down. I see them finishing last in the East this year.

Watch out for Jackson St. as well. close game.

If NC State beats South Carolina, then I believe by October we'll no longer consider it an upset and Steve Spurrier will already have one foot out the door.

Also, while Mississippi State has had close games vs. IAA/FCS teams in the past... I just don't see Jackson State being a threat. Those guys couldn't hang with Tennessee State last season, and I just don't think they have the players to compete with Mississippi State(which is saying a lot).

Alabama/ Virginia Tech. is the best game of the week. It will be a defensive battle, but tech just can't hang with SEC talent. Julio Jones will prove to be the difference in this game. Tight but Bama pulls it out.

I think it will be the biggest hyped game of the week, but end up being a clunker. VT has a habit of laying eggs in these sorts of games.
