SEC WBB Tournament Bracket

I’m also confused how they did the tie breaker. I thought we would be the 7 seed.

This is as good of a draw as we could have possibly hoped for considering the last three weeks of the season.

Likely playing Alabama who is not a deep team and will have to play the day before. Still think there is a high probability we come out flat and lose to them.

If we do manage to win Texas was the best possible matchup for us. We matchup with them much better than any of the other top 4 teams.

I think this team has to win at least one game to get into the ncaa tournament. Idc what their net is, they have played awful since the beginning of February and all those bad losses to crap teams and lopsided losses to teams with a pulse do not look good to the committee. Not hitting 20 wins (because for some reason we scheduled fewer games than anyone in the country) also doesn’t help. Our record looks horrible.

How are we not the 7 seed shouldn’t Ole Miss be above us?
Tennessee earned the 7th seed over 8th-seed Ole Miss due to a superior winning percentage against the group of teams tied at 8-8 (or similar records) in a multi-team tiebreaker scenario. Although Ole Miss beat Tennessee head-to-head, the SEC tiebreaker formula prioritizes combined records against all tied teams.

Tennessee earned the No. 6 seed over Ole Miss (both 8-8) due to a better winning percentage in a four-way tiebreaker scenario involving Georgia and Kentucky. While Ole Miss defeated Tennessee, the SEC's multi-team tiebreaker rules prioritize overall record against the tied group, where Tennessee held a 2-1

They did us a favor losing to vandy 4 straight times would have been heart breaking 💔 but whats the point of head to head wins then if you can lose to a team have the same record and still get ahead of them lol above my pay grade

thanks for the response ! appreciate it!
