More fuel for the fire this year and beyond. We got to stay hungry to get back on top!

While we do have some talent at DB we are lacking SEC caliber corners IMO. I'm not sure I would put us that low but we certainly aren't middle of the pack either.

If I were on the coaching staff I'd be printing out that article and taping it to every players locker asap. The continuing media disrespect for this team should be building the fire in our boys, can't wait to surprise everyone this season!

I think 10th in special teams is gracious if the rankings have to anything to do with our performance over the past couple of years. Eric, I would LOVE to think that CDD has put such an emphasis on ST's that we finish the season ranked 4th in that category -- that would be a MONUMENTAL leap forward for this team. Whether it was under CPF or the Douche bag who will remain nameless, our ST's have SUCKED the past few years. It sure would be nice if Zasnow's comments about our ST's actually winning us a few games this year turns out to be true. I don't even really care about them doing anything all that special on ST's....just stopping kick-off/punt returns would be a really, really refreshing and nice start.

Changes:
WRs: 4th
Secondary: 10th
LBs: 10th

Otherwise, I can't argue with them.

I'm confused over the WR ranking because people want to rank it based on experience and also potential.

Do we not have both?

Two returning seniors who exploded at the 2nd half of last season.

Then we have Rogers, Hunter, and Milton coming in.

Doesn't make much sense to me.

11th best coaching staff is the worst one on there. While CDD is obviously unproven, is the staff as a whole really worse then every other staff in the SEC besides Vandy (going out on a limb and assuming their 12)?

A bit absurd.

SEC Rankings by recruiting expectations/rankings:

QB: 9th
RB: 9th
WR: 4th
TE: 4th
OL: 8th
DE: 5th
DT: 9th
LB: 7th
CB: 6th
S: 6th
ST: 5th

As for the coaching, 11th is a bit nuts as well.

HC: unproven
DC: top-3
OC: top-6
OL: top-3
QB: bottom-3
WR: top-3
DL: top-6
LB: top-3
DB: bottom-3
Recruiter-Coaches: 4 former recruiting coordinators on staff, with accolades at each prior stop, plus 7 coaches with NFL backgrounds/experience

The Rivals piece is an exaggerated response and confusing/conflating transitional turmoil and adverse news with the scope of on-field talent and pedigree of coaching resumes.
