Didn't see this posted.

From Chris Low:

5. Da’Rick Rogers, WR, Tennessee: The Vols will have a first-year starter at quarterback and five new starters on the offensive line. The 6-3, 215-pound Rogers is the kind of receiver that makes everybody around him look better.

Gerald Jones and Denarius Moore will have a lot to say about that. FWIW, 3 0f those top 10 incoming frosh are on UF defensive line...ouch!

You do know that we will play more then 2 WRs, right?

No kidding?:) What about the love for Justin Hunter as well? Actually, Low could've added Juwan James and Tyler Bray to his list.

Personally I havent been all that impressed by either Jones or Moore. They are average to good at best IMO.

I thought the article would have been filled with UT freshman seeing as how thin we are, but I guess people already hate Chris Low for his "bias" in writing more UT related articles. I definitely would have put Jawuan, Stone, or Bray on there in addition to Da'Rick.

Nash?? He still has a shot.. I heard he is about 3x bigger than when he played last season...

Agree on Rogers. He fits the kind of characteristics emblematic of high probabilities of success at his position -- big (6'3"), strong (over 200 lb.), quick (4.5 speed), heavily recruited by a wide range of BCS programs (reflecting their cumulative scouting judgment), and considered a near-unanimous elite prospect by a wide range of recruiting analysts.

As long as Rogers picks up the playbook, and runs efficient routes, he will be the go to target by week 3.

I agree, but I think Moore showed some ability to stretch the field some last year. That being said, he is not nearly as fast as Rogers, Meline, or Hunter are rumored to be so they may take his spot.

The reason Bray, Juwaun James, etc.. weren't included was because that list doesn't include EE's. He only made it for Freshmen entering the Fall semester, which I think is pretty stupid.

I had a class with Tauren Poole last year and somebody asked him who the fastest player on the team was and he said it was either Moore or Art Evans.

Gerald Jones is an underrated player. the guy is a playmaker with great hands, making difficult catches look easy.

The only reason Jones and Moore start is because they have what no one else at the position has. Experience.

I like Jones....I'm ehh on Moore..I definitely think our freshman WRs will get quite a bit of time on the field this year.

With the thin lineup Freshman playing more time isn't really ground breaking news. It was three years ago. But those times have passed.

I doubt very seriously that the dt's heading to florida will see the field.

They return all their interior d-lineman from last season.

no way! moore will start.. he has been one our best targets. dont forget about the great year he had last year just because of his one HUGE drop in the bowl game. he will be much improved this season in my opinion.
