After the absolute abortions we played against LSU and Alabama,I did not think that the LV's would play like they did today.Fact is looking at the SEC Tourney brackets, the Lady Vols can reach the finals and play South Carolina because if they beat Arkansas ( Thursday ) they will then face Texas A&M ( Friday ) ;then if they beat A&M they will likely face Miss State ( Saturday ) and a win would put them in the finals Sunday......play like they did today on a neutral court in Florida and they can do it.

Course if they slip back into the LSU/Bama playing doldrums then all bets are off.

Do the Lady Vols have what it takes to play well 4 days in a row (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday)?

Lady Vols split the season with Arkansas losing 59-64 and winning 75-57. Should have won both.

Arkansas will play a zone. aTm will probably play a mix of both. MSU I don't remember what they did and have not seen enough of them to know. Any team that plays zone will give the LV's trouble.

Holly seems to have figured out that Reynolds and Carter cannot be on the floor at the same time for long stretches, especially against a zone. But who knows what she'll do? If she screws up the lineups and substitutions and DeShields decides she's uninterested in playing, a one and done by the LV's is not out of the question.

Agree but wanted to put a positive spin on it.Maybe that spin will turn into a whirlwind which will sweep thru the campus ,thru the team and take over the SEC tourney ...that would be like Dorothy and the yellow brick road but there is always hope after today.

Well good start for the LV's. At least one of the teams they lost to has been eliminated from the tourney. Lol

They have yet to play well 4 quarters in a row.

Our best hope is that we catch each team at its worst...

we were once considered the #4 program in the country.
Of course we can make a run...
The x-factor is Holly.
The team x-factors are DD and Basha.

Our problems for this team are mental... all it will take is for this team, staff and public to stop pointing fingers and get these players to play the type of game that got them to this level in the first place...Nuff said

I say we pay the refs off and lock the dressing room doors so the others teams can't get out to play...
