SEC spring game attendance numbers:

Doesnt appear joining the SEC did alot to boost attendance at AM and Missouri's spring game.

I was just thinking that, and I think this shows about where AandM and Mizzou will be in the SEC by the end of the year. They should be near UK Vandy Ole miss and miss state territory.

Does look like the conference could be broken down between the have's and have not's, with the bottom 6 in attendance. Doesn't seem like Mizz or AM did a lot to boost the strength of the conference.

A&M and mizzou are about where the rest of the country are.. you can't realistically expect them to be in the same ballpark as the rest of us.

They may work up to that point in a few years, but for now they will have to play catch up.

and after this year it will go back to us and bama as top 2 like it should be :loco:

Penn State 60,000
Texas 46,000
Arkansas 45,250
Oregon 44,129
Georgia 44,117
Auburn 43,427
Florida State 40,631
Florida 38,000
Tennessee 35,421
South Carolina 34,513
LSU 33,000
Notre Dame 31,582

I think it is pretty interesting that we are still number 11 in the country after everything we have been through.

I do think these numbers are fudged by some of these schools.. like the ones who give an exact even number.

Penn state, Texas, Florida--talking to you. "oh we had 60,000 oh ya.. not one more or one less then that" :eek:lol:

OSU was probably that high because everyone wants to see if Urban Meyer can do something without teblow.

Give it time. Turning out for a spring game is a foreign concept to just about everyone outside of the sec. I think tamu and mizzou will both finish middle of the pack

I have watched the Alabama spring game for what seems like an infinite amount of times on CSS. While they may have had that number at the beginning of the game (although it's a little iffy), they definitely did not have as many stay for as long as we did. I went to UT's game, and I was surprised by how long most fans stayed. There was still a good crowd even at the game's end. Alabama's was fairly empty by that point, or at least that's how it appears on TV. But oh well...a couple championships, and you're bound to get complacent!

I guess they figured Bama would win that game.

Finish in the middle of the what pack? Attendance, record? Spring game attendance is no way a good indicator of support for the program. It's a scrimmage after all.

A&M's stadium seats over 80K. I think there's more support for that program than you think.
