I still find it puzzling that The SEC schools did not keep their in-state rivalry games:

Florida-FSU
Georgia-Georgia Tech
Clemson-South Carolina
Kentucky Louisville

Other SEC teams could perhaps schedule and end of the season fun matchup such as Tennessee vs. Oklahoma to play that one.

Treat it like a bowl game.

It's because to keep even one of them means you're on the hook for the buyouts of the others you didnt keep. If we kept oklahoma, we would have had to pay Charlotte, etc. Doing conference only allowed a clean out of our obligations.

Got it. Still surprised that we didn't keep the in-state ACC rivalry games though. The ACC made a special provision in their schedule that would have saved those games.

Another issue would be the 2 teams destined to go to Atlanta would be unable.to keep an OOC game.

I find it puzzling that JG is going to walk onto the field as the Vols starting QB this Saturday.
That is funny! I have a great idea. We should turn this into another JG thread. Thoughts? Would JG improved/padded his record if we had played our original schedule with 4 OoC games?

To tell everyone the truth am about over it. Been a fan since 1969 season ticket holder blah blah blah. But tried of watching the same JG $hit show week after week with no end in site. Tennessee football fans deserve better from players and coaches ! Btw still no Holiday with the ball in his hands. Why recruit speed if your not going to use it ?
