I am going to attempt to update this every 15 days or so, just so we can see how teams progress and regress over the season. I figure that it will give us a good indicator if recruiting matters as much in July, as it does in January.

If I haven't updated this, please bump it to help me out.

Enjoy. :hi:

cool idea, should be very interesting. Are you using the 24/7 or Rivals?

Eric, the roster is 10 times better than it was the past couple years... Still a year off a standard SEC roster.... regardless, judging Dooley begins now.
GO VOLS!!!!!

Here is a question for someone, are Ta&m and Mizzou going to be held to the 25 limit this year or do they get a pass? The reason I ask is bc I noticed a&m already with 27 commits.

I have always thought after Kiffin left and the rats started deserting the ship that it would take 5 years to get to SEC standards. It takes us longer because we don't have the in state talent base as SEC opponents have. Playing freshmen and sophomores against juniors and 5th year seniors is a recipe for losing. I WILL expect improvement this year with this roster. A successful season will give us a big bump in recruiting and we will be able to judge DD starting this season. I hope DD succeeds so we don't have to go through the same circus for another 5 years.

Not even worth trying to make that argument on here. Dooley was supposed to win with or without SEC talent and injurys to our two best offensive players don't matter either.

Bump for 8-12-12 update.

Vandy went to 8th(4th in East) in the conference, and UT dropped to 9th(5th in East) in the conference.

Everything else stayed the same.
