Bray comes in at 5th

5. Tyler Bray, Tennessee: Bray’s overall numbers are outstanding with 3,216 yards and 29 touchdowns, and he’s probably playing his best football right now. That said, he simply hasn’t delivered in clutch situations and has thrown an SEC-high nine interceptions in league games.

Should be fourth in my opinion. A couple of the interception were last second Hail Mary types. Just hope he continues to use good judgement against Vandy and UK.

I wonder how high Bray's ranking would be if he got to play against the Volunteer defense? McCarron didn't do so well in the one game 'Bama's defense didn't stop the other team, and he threw his only 2 INTs in that game as well. It's much easier to play if you aren't forced to score almost every possession just to stay even. Very misleading statistics and conclusions.

Scary thought! I am guessing 400+ yards with 6 TD.

So you're blaming his int's on our defense?

Spot on? So if you could pick any QB for your SEC team right now, there are 4 you would pick ahead of Bray? BS. I MIGHT choose Manziel over Bray, but no one else comes close.

It seems that Bray has done a lot statistically but has not shown the inate talent to win when it is available. Perhaps it might persuade him that another year in Neyland will help position him for his next opportunity in the NFL. Right now, he would be a mid-round project selection and put in charge of clip-board management.

Here's the thing , if we even had a average D , Bray wouldn't have even been in these "clutch" situations and we would have won most games by 2 td's or more. When u put up 350 a game and 2 or more td's a game u can't ask for much more..

Cannot beat good SEC football teams, with serious problems in his head. Does not translate into success in the NFL. Two words.

I'm with you. And how many of these other guys have been in as many close games as Bray? Combine that with the fact that Bray's coaches always seem abandon the run game late and tell him to win it with his arm and you can understand some of his struggles.

Bray's got room to grow, but he's a done a really good job IMO. Compare his combined stats against Florida and USCe, for example, to Aaron Murray's against those two sqauds this year.

couple of those picks were desperation throws at the end. I don't doubt that eventually he will be drafted higher than any other SEC QB

No worse than 3rd....maybe even 2nd. Do people even look at the stats? It looks like they base this crap off of wins and not how the qb plays. If we had just an avg D we would have 7 or 8 wins and he would be 2nd without a doubt.

Fair or not NFL teams arent going to give bray a pass because the Defense is terrible. I have no doubt he is physically talented enough for the NFL. I am just not sure he is mentally there yet though.

If you want a QB that's going to go out there and put up big numbers and keep his team in it by leading his offense on a lot of scoring drives then I would pick Bray over all the other SEC QB's.

If you want to hand your QB the football and tell him to go win it then Bray wouldn't be in my top 5 QB's in the SEC. Just my opinion.

I was talking about the bolded part, hence why I put it in bold

He's limited by the Dooley factor. Bray wants to win. He's hungry to get better.

The problem? He works for a coach who quit on this team a long, long time ago.

Very well put.

Has he come up in clutch situations? no. Should he be in those situations? no. The interceptions would not be so high if we didn't have to make up for our defense. If you all want to knock on him for not being clutch all the time that's fine, but he is still a very good quarterback. Apparently everyone has forgotten what it was like to have total ineptitude at QB e.g. Crompton, Simms, R. Clausen, Ainge Soph Year. I for one will appreciate a good QB when I see him.

Bray has the best potential of any quarter back in college football. Unfortunately, he like the other UT players haven't had the benefit of a knowledgeable coaching staff to help him reach his potential. He is not ready for the NFL and consequently should stay for his senior season. Especially if Gruden comes to Tennessee. We would see a far superior quarterback in bray next season

Record of teams if they had Bray:
Texas A&M - probably the same
Alabama - undefeated
Georgia - possibly undefeated, Bray killed SC
Arkansas - maybe better, certainly not worse

Having Bray 5th is just unfounded.
