An arkansas message board:

Crompton as low as 11 in some of these, with Casey Dick as high as 3. Extremely humorous.

Just FYI, the link won't take you directly to the thread because the layout of the site is awful. It should be about halfway down the page (depending on what time you look at it, right now its about halfway down).

The title is called "ranking the sec QBs" so you might just want to use Cntrl + f to find it.

Because the layout of that site is awful, the search of the site does not work. But I got your point; I mean I don't actually need to read that kind of stupid stuff after you summarized it for us.

A question pops up in my mind after browsing through a couple of threads there: who Ark fans are gonna worship after MacFadden got drafted? Maybe dicks (for those you who do not know, Casey's brother, Nathan, is their 3-string QB)

Considering Nickson is third-string at Vandy, I'd say no. Pulley at UK won't be all that bad. I'd take him over Casey Dick or either USC QB.

IMO not many teams in this league would trade Crompton for Dick.

You are just dreaming if you believe crompton will make it to number 2. Tebow is easily the best followed by Stafford and Perriloux. Crompton might be around the 4th or 5th best.

I guess you've got all of 2 games Crompton played a large part in 2 seasons ago to base that claim off of...

Who knows how he'll do this season? I haven't heard any complaints, and I'd say that as a highly rated QB with 3 years in the system, he's got as good of a shot as any to be a successful QB.

Stafford and Perriloux are good, but I'd say it's a wash as far as evaluating QBs right now, up at the top. There's just not much to base it on.

Stafford's going to do a lot of handing off to Moreno and King.

Perriloux may not make it to fall camp.

Stafford - Here based on experience and team around him

Tier 2
Perriloux - Any one of these could go Tier 1 with experience or consistency for Wilson
Crompton
Wilson
Sneed

Tier 3
Dick - These guys could slip up a notch or down a notch
Burns

Tier 4
USC - It is what it is for these guys
Kentucky

Tier 5
Carroll - No need to comment as he isn't very good

Tier Totally Sux

if tebow stays his 4 yrs him and crompton wil lbe head to head in 09! tebow stafford and crompton by end of 08 will be best 3 in sec. the rest will just have to watch tapes and learn. im starting to think there is more to crompton not starting under ainge and either he shoul dhave or clawson system is just more natural to cromptons abilities. we wont be cussin crompton for much in 08. there will be allot of cromptonites emerge watch!

Why can't people get that through their heads? Well, that and the fact the Perriloux has proven absolutely nothing outside of his athletic ability to this point.

I usually skip his posts. I'm not trying to read an incoherent block of text that eschews grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

No because of all of the weapons you guys lost. I don't care who the QB is, the offense simply isn't going to be as good as last years. A first year starter at QB with all of the other losses doesn't look too good IMO. We will see

WR, TE, LB, QB are all question marks.

UK will not finish 12th but they'll be hard pressed to finish above 10th.
