SEC predictions

if you've bought the most recent edition of "football time in tennessee" magazine, you'll see properly that it's most likely UF and Bama for the sec again. and unless tebow somehow dies in a freak accident, the gators are out for another BCS. LSU and Ole Miss should be good and we'll be the "suprize" team. The rest are decent but they aren't expecting much out of them. In your other thread, i was kidding about Miss state.

i am suprised they said our key game was georgia. it is very winnable since they have lost alot of key players.

I worked out all the schedules and I think it will be a three way tie in the west with Bama taking the tie breaker.

Bama loses @Ole Miss and Tennessee
Ole Miss loses to @ SC and LSU
LSU loses to @ Bama and @ GA

That gives Bama the tie breaker over LSU since both of them have a better SECW record and Bama won head to head.

East looks like this.

FL loses @ LSU
GA loses @ OK ST. and FL
TN loses @FL, GA, and @ Ole Miss

I see LSU and Florida meeting in Atlanta....LSU winning.

I think Georgia's going to be better than people expect. That offensive line is damn good, and damn deep. There's no shortage of talent in Athens, just limited experience behind center...they'll overcome that.

Ole Miss is good, they're just not top 10 good. It's easy to remember them upsetting Florida, and pounding on Texas Tech....but, this is still a team that lost to Wake, Vandy, and South Carolina in 2008. I think they finish 9-3, 5-3.

I think South Carolina is staring at a 5-7/6-6 type season. They've recruited fairly well, but they're simply not "on the rise." I have a tough time imagining Spurrier returning in 2010 if things go as badly as I expect them to in Columbia this year.

Florida goes undefeated and wins the national championship.

Georgia wins 8 games.

Tennessee wins 8 games.

South Carolina wins 4-5 games. That whole program implodes via lack of leader/QB.

LSU wins 10 games.

Ole Miss is average and makes another trip to the Cotto Bowl, even though I'm a big fan of Snead.
