This needs to be remembered the next time someone's rationale for why no one should ever be worried about South Carolina game in a given year is because we have "way more talent than them". In recent years the two teams are fairly even and reflective of these numbers (our record against the lame Cocks since Fulmer was fired the first time is 7-6). Whereas we are considerably further behind Bama, LSU and Georgia in talent on NFL rosters than Vandy is behind us.

The SEC is a killer league.

There 32 teams vs a 53 man roster means 1626 total players. I'm sort of surprised the total of SEC players is that low, almost a third. Kind of humbling actually.
