Twas a good day. I really don't care what else happens in college football the rest of the night. Be nice to see the bulldogs lose, but ...that could be a "wash".
Shout out to Peyton!
been a good day here as well. Gonna cavender some bison and grill later.
my little one happened to have a good day on the soccer field today too in his first game. he is 6 and playing in a u8 league, so I told him it would be tough and to not get discouraged if he didn't do well. Kid scored 20 seconds into the game and ended with a hat trick.
After having 2 boys that couldn't compete in sports even at young ages, (and me loving every sport possible) I have to admit i love when my son's prove me wrong. He's not even that great. He just gets after it like a sumbich and it gave me chills this morning.
It's amazing seeing your kids do this.. Friday nights make me a proud father..been a good day here as well. Gonna cavender some bison and grill later.

I kno what your saying I thinkand it's not that I'm living through him or one of those parents. This is the first year in 9 that I am sitting on the sidelines and not coaching and I just sat there and smiled the whole day, especially when he missed a ball, landed on his back, got back up laughing, then went back in and stole it. In all honesty, I'm having major flashbacks of my dad and me. He was 43 when I was 6 as well. I was 3rd child too. My siblings didn't play sports, as jake's dont. It's all come full circle. Just to see that tenacity and want in your child makes you proud because you feel he'll be ok. Not because he scored. Just hard to explain. I just think that anyone in life that gives good effort will be ok, in general. I worry about that with my other 2 boys.
