Florida sucks. UGA about as expected. SC better than expected. UK is still UK, Mizzou has the worst defense in the history of defense. Vandy hadn't seen them yet.

I was going to post my own comments, but this sums it up.

Texas would beg to differ! How can you score 3 non offensive TDs at home and still give up 51?

Texas worst Baylor 48 to Liberty at home and lost then Missouri! 3 worst defenses ive ever seen.

USCe played very well on offense....

Fla is not as bad as they looked today against Michigan...
Our D is nowhere close to being as athletic and good as Michigan...

Bama just keeps rolling....:banghead2:

Hope we play well against GT....because it's gonna be a long year in the SEC for us....

:salute:

I don't like Michigan, but they answered my prayers yesterday. Florida looks like garbage. We should easily handle them with or without their "suspended" players (no doubt the shark humper is just holding them out so they're rested for us!).

I suppose it's a good thing our former RB went to Baylor, they clearly need some help down there.

Just saw something that pleased me, a meme that said "You can't spell Florida without a L".

Why would you think anything else? You are one miserable person.....

And how would you possibly know that? Get pver yourself dude, really.

As i listened to knoxville radio friday, nearly every host picked Tennessee to lose to the same teams i think we will lose to, are they all miserable as well?

Florida looked like hot garbage. Anyone who thinks they didn't, doesn't understand football very much.

Michigan is the youngest team in the country this year. They just lost like 40-something players due to graduation and draft. You just watched a freshman Defense beat the piss out of Florida for 60 minutes.

Florida had 11 total rushing yards...as a team.
They had less than 200 total yards of offense. And only scored 3 offensive points. They allowed 6 sacks...

Spaight threw two HORRIBLE passes into triple coverage. That is the only reason their defense looked even decent. Florida gave up 200+ yards of rushing...and lost to a Michigan QB who finished the night with a QBR of 28.....

Florida was dominated on both sides of the ball. Stop kidding yourself. Florida fans realize how bad their team is and are currently forming a lynch mob for Jim Mcelwain this morning.

After what I watched yesterday, everyone else is playing for 2nd place in the SEC. Bama's defense took apart a very talented FSU team. Further, very few teams will be able to slow down Alabama's running game. Tide looked dominant in beating the Noles 24-7. Game was not as close as the score indicates.

Didn't we already know this?

Florida embarrassed the entire SEC. I have no idea what's going on with their program...the whole "10 players suspended" thing has to just make you shake your head. PATHETIC.
That said...I'm pretty sure they'll be firing on all cylinders when we play them.
Butch better make sure our guys know the Gators aren't going to be the pushover that showed up to give their lunch money to the Wolverines..!!

We'll be okay. Aside from them, the SEC has had the 2nd best weekend so far, with only the PAC doing better.

Bama taking down FSU and USCe standing up to peer competitor NC State were both good wins. Makes us 2-1 so far this year against Power 5 competition.

Fingers crossed Texas A&M tonight and of course our Vols tomorrow night raise that to 4-1.

From what I saw South Carolina looked like our toughest competition from the East. Bama looked the same.

I only saw about 15-20 minutes of their game, but the parts I saw of South Carolina, they're not that dangerous-looking.

Georgia looked more impressive to me, at least on offense. Chubb and Michel are both back to 100%, dangerous runners. Backup QB Fromm looked really good. Their OLine looked solid, dominating App State as they should.

Their defense looked lacksidasical and a bit undisciplined, but that'll probably come together over the next game or two.

Yeah, I'd say Georgia's our prime competition in the East.

[nonetheless, walking into the Swamp and stealing a win is always tough, maybe even if the gators are a basket case as they looked yesterday]

Florida's offense looks the worst it has in the last 5 years. And thats really saying something. Fromm looked better than Eason, Chubb and Michel both looked really good as always. Kinda glad we didn't get Mecole Hardman because he honestly doesn't look that special. South Carolina looked best in the East yesterday but there defense didn't look that great. Alabama looked like Alabama but there offense didn't play that great yesterday, FSU does have a good defense though. Kentucky looked like hot garbage, and Vandy actually looked pretty solid yesterday.

I completely agree. UGA looked 10x better against scrAppy State than we did. Plus, UGA moved the ball with their backup QB. IF Bentley goes does (not wishing it on the kid but it happens) SCar loses the dynamic element of their offense.

Yeah. I think the east will be between Tenn, UGA and Scar.

One thing I did notice was Alabama only had 96 passing yards. I dunno if that's bc they are afraid to let Hurts throw too much or what.

SC's win yesterday is probably going to end up looking better as the season goes. NC State is pretty good.

Michigan plays great defense, but it is absolutely astonishing how Florida can stay so bad offensively for so long with that recruiting base.

After watching a couple of our East opponents, what do some of you think. As much as it pains me to say Florida and SC look pretty solid for their first games. As usual, Florida has tremendous speed. Thoughts?

Without seeing us play yet it's hard to say how we stack up. Florida is solid on defense as usual, but their offense has a lot of work to do. Missouri is awful on defense, I'll be curious to see how that offense does against a defense with a pulse, Georgia looked solid on both sides and Carolina while I didn't pay much attention to that one seemed to be decent against NC State. LSU put a good performance on the field last night and Alabama looked pretty good too. FSU was in that game until special team errors and an interception.

I'm ready for tomorrow night and to see how we stack up. I just want to get out of that game with a W and no serious injuries. I want to see solid QB play and I want to see our defense look stout against the run. We may give up 200 rushing but if the YPC is not an astronomical number I'll feel decent about that.

Fromm is no slouch. 5 star QB coming out of high school. Minus the experience, he's probably on the same talent level as Eason

Same level? Then why did they start Eason last season and yesterday do you think?
