SEC Now disrespect

Yep I heard Roman say that, at Bama it’s Ty but with us it’s the offense. I thought it was a dumb comment. GBO
I've watched Ty Simpson quite a bit this season and I've seen nothing to convince me as an NFL owner to take him anywhere near the first round. Bubba is winning = QB praise.

I usually don’t participate in the “the whole world hates us” discussions, but Joey seems to be unfairly ignored.

He’s not a pro prospect, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t a very good college QB having an excellent season. Plus, he seems like a great young man and is a great story.

He should be getting more recognition IMO.

He's definitely a system QB, that system being Alabama hasn't been flagged for holding on passing downs in 5 SEC games.

No respect bc we have beaten zero quality teams. We got a chance to fix that to end the year.
Top 5 QB in the SEC has nothing to do with quality wins. Joey Aguilar didn’t miss the FG against UGA but rather played an awesome game to put us in a position to win.

Roman Harper had John Mateer as #5 on his list. He said he has struggled his last 3 games but still believes based on the start to his season.

I think alot of these sports media gurus have just learned that tweaking Vol Twitter is good for getting clicks and that's why they do it.

I can’t stand watching Roman Harper. He hates UT and doesn’t hide it. He constantly throws jabs at UT
But you keep giving his name credence. I'm sure that's exactly what he wants. When are you guys gonna learn that lesson. Those guys know they can get a rise out of UT fans just by being negative and some gladly help them

the ball coddling of ole miss. lsu, florida, georgia and most of all, Bama. Is completely egregious. just once id like to turn on espn and not hear the circle jerkfest and favoritism. The Mcelchode comments on Aguilar, Roman Harper, the LSU former Dlineman, asm the gator WR makes me sick.

He got the cameo segment right before the interview with Staley, immediately following the review of our receivers, only team with three over 500 yards in D1. Yeah, them boys getting their share of love… 😉🤙🏼🧡

Where do they come up with this crap?

I saw where top Heisman contenders include Ty Simpson, Marcel Reed, and Go Diego Go, of all people.

What in the world? Aguilar is ranked higher than all of them in all passing stats. And if you only include conference games, Pavia is like 13th. What an idiotic take.

Pavia is about to run out of house money. He’s hard to take, what a cocky insufferable player.
Diego Pavia is a stud at quarterback. Although you may not like him or his attitude, there’s no question that he controls the game and manages the entire offense while also sitting high on the boards for stats.

I’m not saying he’s better than Aguilar or others, but there’s no doubt that he’s a good quarterback and deserves to be up there at the top five especially with the team that he’s on

I think he’s dismissed because he’s not seen as a potential NFL QB…same with Pavia…or maybe the woke media doesn’t recognize their own bias against Hispanics 😂

But "that's the offense" doesn't hold water because it wasn't there the last 2 seasons. CJH can scheme guys open all day, and often does, but have to have a QB to make the throws.
We're not even running the same offense that we had when Hooker was here and we had that dead side of the field, don't agree with it but I could at least understand why one may call it a gimmick.

TN is actually running more of a pro style offense now, our WR run full route trees and we don't play as fast as we used to either. Do these guys even watch the game?

I haven’t watched an episode until tonight and was reminded why I shouldn’t. They listed the top 5 quarterbacks and Joey wasn’t on either guys list.

At the end of the segment Dari asked who leads the SEC in passing yards. Roman answered Joey Aguilar. Then he said but that’s the offense.

Joey has threw for at least 200 yards in every game of his career. He threw for 6760 yards in 2 seasons at App State but I guess that was CJH offense too.

Sorry for the rant but the SEC bias is always evident.
Roman Harper is the most Alabama homer of all their personalities. He thinks there isn't another team worthy of his praise. Is why his commentary is so overshadowed by Cole Cubelic on any analysis of plays. Cubelic makes Harper look like someone trying to learn a football play. Think he is the least liked of those on SEC gameday show. But of course no one goes to Paul Finebaum on any analysis of a play. How Finebaum gets a cushy job talking football and not even playing a down is crazy. He made his bed by just taking a controversial situation in college football and taking the dark side of it and making the most of it by stirring the pot. He really has no credibility in college football as far as knowledge of the game.

Pavia makes their offense go and is a really good player but him being 10th in the SEC in passing yards(650 behind Joey) makes it a bit of a tough sell as top 5 QB in the SEC, particularly ahead of Joey. Even if you add in Pavia's rushing yards, he is still almost 200 yards behind Joey's passing alone. Both have accounted for 20 total TDs.
