I think the SEC needs to get 2 teams in the final 4 for it to be looked at as a truly successful tournament for the conference.

Was the SEC overrated going into the tourney. Somewhat disappointing with Bama even struggling against 15 seed Robert Morris. Football falls a little flat post-season, now basketball. Was hoping for more SEC wins in basketball. Sure hope the Vols don't stumble against UCLA but overall league performance thus far a concern.

At the start of the tournament the SEC represented .21875% of the field. We now represent .4375% of the field. Pretty good I would say.

I don't think that should be any issue whatsoever. The SEC has a very real possibility of having 5 or 6 in the Elite 8.

I actually wanted Arkansas to win, just to get under the skin of Kentucky fans, who are probably rooting as hard for him to lose and them to win.

One of the most frustrating things to see is a defense giving up a 3 when it's the only thing that can beat you. How is Knox not up in that kid's face with 10 seconds left? If he drives, so what? You see it so often.

Could care less which way the Duke/Bama game swings, but pulling for Florida (on top of Tennessee and Auburn of course). 3/4 would still be pretty damn crazy.

1. I have them winning it all in my bracket. Have bracket involved in contest where I could win some cash. At the very least, I got a good chance of winning some dough if things don’t go my teams’ way.

2. Not necessarily a huge deal, but as being discussed in here, seeing conference dominance/setting records is still kinda cool imo

SEC started as 22% of the field.

They were higher than that at every level thereafter.

So you could actually say the SEC was underrated vs the rest of the selections, and should have had more in to start.

This thread is a failure for two reasons:
1) stop being an SEC fan because its lame and embarrassing.
Then unfortunately after that failure,
2) The SEC makes up 50% of the final 4

The top 7 SEC teams are doing fine. Look at ACC. Their #2 and #3 teams have lost. So is Duke really that strong playing in a poor league?
