The mighty SEC is not looking so hot right now. Georgia scored as I was typing
this, perhaps they can stage a comeback. Looks like Corso pick of Northwestern
hammering Auburn is holding true so far. Florida lost - expected with 4 receivers
quitting on them and Miss State eked a win. See if Ala-Bubba can nail the Irish.
Not sure - who all plays tomorrow.

Tough day to puff your chest out as an SEC fan.

Dang near impossible day to hold your chin up as a Vol fan.

A guy named after Peyton M., led his team to victory over Auburn. So, there's that.
QB Peyton Ramsey lit it up against Tennessee in last year's Gator Bowl, then transferred to Northwestern & did the same today against Auburn. He's legit.

Good, I hope they all lose as many games as possible. Why do we want our rivals to win big games?
Because, in some ways, we recruit based on conference strength. Even if Urban Meyer were coaching at Furman, recruiting would still be harder because...... Southern Conference? Really?

If the SEC is weak, all recruiting suffers.

If other teams in the SEC being good made us better then we wouldn't have sucked for the last decade.

I didn't say they made us good, I said they made recruiting easier. Our coaching sucks.

We've had top 25 recruiting classes EVERY YEAR for nearly a decade and maybe one or two trips to the top 25 in that time. Obviously, we've not been good so our recruiting has been helped by the SEC having success.

Vol football is over for this year as is football for all but two schools. Vol fans should now focus on basketball where there's all sorts of reasons to hold the ol' chin up.

SEC is doing just fine. I expect Texas A&M to represent us well tonight.

SEC #1 (Bama) is playing for another title.
SEC #2 (A&M) should win tonight, although I have no idea if any key players opted out.
SEC #3 (UF) got crushed by the Big 12 champ.
SEC #4 (UGA) beat an undefeated AAC champ who some said deserved a CFP shot.
SEC #5 (Auburn) lost to Big 10 #2 (Northwestern)
SEC #6s (LSU and Mizzou) didn’t play
SEC #8 (Ole Miss) beat Big 10 #3 (Indiana)
SEC #9 (UK) beat ACC #5 (NC State)
SEC #10 (MSU) beat AAC #2 (Tulsa)
