The SEC is plenty capable of getting left out. If Notre Dame runs the table or has 1 loss, and 3 of the other P5's have 1 or 0-loss champs, we'll get left out. Houston is another wildcard that will be there if they go 12-0. The playoff committee isn't going to bow down to the SEC.

I don't see them putting in an undefeated Houston team over a one loss sec team or even a two loss sec team. It's still about money, Houston has a good following but not good enough. If it comes down to a one loss Ohio state team or somebody along those lines they're not going to pass up on them to put a non power 5 team in. That's JMO. Houston would have to dominate every team they play and leave no question about whether or not they should be there.

No where in any comment I've made on this post have I even so much as implied that as far as last year goes. Florida was a joke after Grier was found juicing.

I'm not saying it's impossible that the SEC gets left out, I'm saying it's not likely.

Name one team in the sec that's more complete than Tennessee. Then count how many of them that's on our schedule. If we lose to anyone not named bama that means we've played below our potential. And you can have all that Florida streak crap. It's ends this year in a big way.

Depends on how other teams do. I think it's possible. I believe Michigan was floating around the top 10 with 2 losses and I remember a few announcer throwing out the possibility that if they were to win out and somehow get in the B10 championship game they could have made it

I hope you are right. I can't stand ND. We get inundated with Golden Dome propaganda here in Chicago. Please lose at least 2.
