SEC Network broadcasts so bad

And now we get 2 hours of Dane Bradshaw. 🙄
He’s my least favorite Vol to listen to.

I met Dane at a party in 2006 and he was a super nice and polite person. Last night’s broadcast was terrible though. He talks like a backstabber to impress his corporate buddies. Slay doesn’t act like that.

Auburn player jump stops, established a pivot foot, and then changes pivot foot last night to score. Fans boo the no call and Dane proceeds to gaslight the audience, saying that a Euro-step superseded changing pivot feet.

Ive commented on this in the football forum before but now I'm noticing the same thing with basketball games. why do they suppress the crowd noise during these broadcasts? it's awful listening to nothing but the broadcasters without hearing the crowd when a big play happens.
Why is crowd noise desired as a part of the broadcast?
Hearing the crowd more than the announcers is irritating, IMO

Having the crowd noise go up and down as different plays/calls happens helps paint the picture and tell the story of the action and what's happening. Should be an assister to a good announcer whose job is to put the listener in the crowd and a part of the game. JMO

When they’re doing it right the commentators are on the center channel and the crowd is on the peripheral channels. It helps with immersion, since it feels more like you’re there when the surround channels sound more like the arena.

tonight's game on ESPN was head and shoulders better than the BS on SEC network. you can hear the crowd so much better and the announcers aren't in the forefront as much.

so much better
Although I think Ravich was talking out his arse saying every team knows what they’re going to get from Tennessee with the grabbing and holding? Were absolutely physical with our bodies but not by grabbing and holding!

Jimmy D is so much better when he doesn't beat you up with trying to sell his corn dog phrase of the night. I don't recall him spouting anything like Nascar Cut, or Win the Nail tonight. I also think UT gets a better call from him now that his daughter is a Vol cheerleader.

Jimmy D has been a big fan since the peanut butter and jelly era!

Still got a couple of "body blows" in tonight.
