In the game thread, a lot of people thought it was a missed call because they questioned the return man's fair catch signal

I still think this was not a correct call by the officials!

Valid Signal
ARTICLE 2.
A valid signal is a signal given by a player of Team B who has obviously signaled his intention by extending one hand only clearly above his head and waving that hand from side to side of his body more than once.
Invalid Signal
ARTICLE 3.
An invalid signal is any waving signal by a player of Team B:
  1. That does not meet the requirements of Article 2 (above); or
  2. That is given after a scrimmage kick is caught beyond the neutral zone, strikes the ground or touches another player beyond the neutral zone (A.R. 6-5-3-III-V); or
  3. That is given after a free kick is caught, strikes the ground or touches another player. [Exception: Rule 6-4-1-f]

It's Disney. Same reason they put an Alabama homeboy on the call for EDIT: Tennessee and florida. Why wasn't the NUT PUNCH on Evans after the play was called an ejection? Disney needs it's cash cows. I can't prove it yet, but pretty obvious some teams took advantage of Disney money early on in the game. We did NOT.

It has no more credibility.

And, you can blame the BIG or the 12 all you want for the restructuring mess, but guess who attempted the COUP and was foiled?

and, you already know the outcome to this season don"t you? It's 2 SEC teams, One BIG (for legitimacy), and who ever gets the most attention gets the fourth spot (probably oregon), and fed to the wolves. This year, they NEED kirby to win something, in a bad way.

Blah....I need to get back to my video game.

That was a nice trick they pulled last night wasn't it? Taking Clemson into overtime and forcing the Volnation (who they know is a tremendous audience) to try to figure out thier little Disney/espn+ scheme?

My disappointment in the the officiating was the fact that several Florida players continued giving TN players the business after they got them on the ground.

Disney made a HUGE error in judgment buying espn. They have no business owning the dirtiest game in town, and then making that its biggest money maker. Pretty sure that should be illegal.

Can't believe I keep pulling myself out of Valhalla for this, but I need to get this off my chest. One of three things is going to happen.

1: UT joins the Disney family (thats what the want).
2: we fight them and win.
3: We continue to get our ass kicked and are relegated to obscurity.

I think the rest of college ball just proved you can make BOLD, but smart moves, and call them out. It's a game of chess, not checkers tho. You can't make bad moves. you have to know WHEN to move.

My last post, UT has a couple things going for it. Danny White knows Disney's game, and he is a control freak. The SEC was founded in Tennessee, and they need us.
