The Sports Talk on XM is alright. You have Fox Sports Radio and ESPN Radio. They also have Sporting News Radio but I have never really listened to it.

I've have XM since 05 and man is it handy on some long trips where CD's fall way short.

Sporting News radio has been largely replaced by XM Sports Nation which has some pretty good shows on it. You've also got the PGA Tour channel and MLB radio which are actually pretty good sometimes.

I was trying to listen to ESPN radio on XM in my car today but I couldn't get it. Is anyone else having that problem who has XM?

Looks like we got lucky (see below)..not all teams are being picked up right away. This has to be an existing contracts issue or something. Also, I thought that each conference was only signing contracts with one provider ... which was why XM had Big 10 games (and not Sirius), for example (at least I think that was the case). Here is there quote from the XM website:

XM will have the most SEC games on radio. Starting this fall, SEC fans will experience full play-by-play coverage of University of Arkansas, University of Georgia, University of Kentucky, Mississippi State University, University of Mississippi and University of Tennessee football games, plus coverage of basketball and other sports on XM. The University of South Carolina will join XM in fall 2008, followed by the University of Florida in fall 2009.
