Kicked off at 12:30 p.m. SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey is first up at the podium. Butch Jones expected around 5 p.m.

Kendal Vickers @DreadHead_Vick
Ready to go! #SECMD17

Sankey: “There’s not opposition here to a 14-game season. There is curiosity and interest." But he wants to be careful about not moving football practice to earlier in the summer.

Q. There's been some buzz about division realignment. What are the possibilities that at some point could happen when we think of the Auburn Tigers and other schools when we think about that?
GREG SANKEY: Has not been an agenda item in the meeting. It is a conversation in most large press conferences in which I appear, and that's the extent of the conversation.

Interesting question regarding the reporting of injuries.

Q. Commissioner, do you favor some kind of standardized format for injury reporting in football?
GREG SANKEY: I think that's probably the second time I've been asked, and that's just not been a conversation that we've ever had. I understand the basis for the question, but I've not had to take a position other than allowing what we do to continue. And I suspect that's the feeling of our member universities at this point as well.

2:00 p.m. Bielema is on stage. After Sankey brought it up during his introduction, Bielema told the story of accidentally Facetiming the Commissioner while at Chipotle. Blamed a butt-dial. Is that called a butt-facetime? lol

COACH BIELEMA: That's an introduction like no other, all right, from the commissioner. It was kind of funny, because I had received a lot of different phone calls, texts, during the course of the day from some of my SEC brothers and some my head coaches and different people from the SEC office, and I did get the text from the commissioner. I said, wow, that's kind of nice. I didn't respond to everybody. Don't take it personally if I hadn't responded to you yet. I had about 500 messages.

I did text him. That's pretty cool, I was thinking to myself. My wife wanted a double veggie bowl from Chipotle -- trying to get an endorsement right there -- I was walking down, and I recognized the FaceTime, pulled it out and I see Greg Sankey's name. I said: This is pretty cool, the commissioner is FaceTiming me. That's pretty neat. He said, Why were you calling me? I said, I apologize, I must have butt-dialed you. That was a unique experience.

-Bielema is coming off of a 7-6 season, 3-5 in the SEC. The Razorbacks return 12 starters.

Q. Coach, two years ago here you described a win over Texas as being borderline erotic. I was wondering, if you are able to beat A&M with the way things have gone in your series with them, how do you think you'd describe that?
COACH BIELEMA: I know you guys are all looking for quotes. I don't think I can go much further than that one. That was in a small-group session and that was before I had a child, so I'll just leave it at there.

-Bielema just asked a media member, "Where'd you get that shirt?"

Q. What's the timetable for Dre Greenlaw and for camp? And part two, do you feel like you're going to be a better run defense this coming year, and why would that be?
COACH BIELEMA: Can I ask you a question? Where did you get that shirt? I like it, I like it.

BUTCH JONES HAS ARRIVED.

BUTCH JONES AT THE PODIUM

-Tennessee starts the season with three games in 13 days.

-Won't name a starting QB until the time is right.

-If both quarterbacks earn the right to play, they'll both play.

-Kyle Phillips is back to full health.

-Moved Kongbo back outside and he's had a good of an offseason as anyone.

-Butch doesn't view last season as a disappointment, but we didn't accomplish all we set out to.

-Told Phil Fulmer, I want you at practice. This is your football program. You helped build this.

The SECN guys saying Butch was without slogans and personable. Giving him high praise.

Sounds about right. Will probably talk about youth too. At this rate we will never have experienced veterans on our teams if you ask Butch.

That man will find a way to present the case too.

"We are a very young team. We are actually the youngest team in history with a mascot that starts with a V and has back to back 9-4 seasons"

I hope that the media ask the most insulting, disrespectful, asinine questions imaginable. I hope that they pump every other team in the East and treat us like an afterthought.

If those are the rules of the game, I foresee a lot of "whole bottle chugging".

Find it amazing that big bret isn't mentioned in the hot seat conversations with the 25-26 record in four years.

Find it amazing that big bret isn't mentioned in the hot seat conversations with the 25-26 record in four years.

It's Arkansas. And for that job, I'd say his seat actually is fairly hot. If they go 6-6 this year or miss a bowl they might fire him.

Also, is there a more overrated position group than Arkansas' offensive line? You cannot watch a game without hearing about how they have better size than every NFL O-line, how so-and-so is a great NFL prospect, etc., but I'm never blown away by their team's running game or their offense overall.

If that unit is consistently as talented as they are claimed to be, they don't appear to get the most out of it.
