1-3 so far.....Will the SEC finish with a .500 record or better? BTW that one win was a 1pt win over Miami - Ohio....we are looking like a joke.

I only care about 1 SEC win, and that game is tomorrow. I just cannot root for teams whose fans hate us, jeer us, and denigrade us from Sept to November

I agree but if they suck shouldn't we been able to win at least 6 or 7 games in the SEC? Looking like the worst of the power 5 right now

I'm sorry, I want our conference to be good. Have any of the SEC teams that lost been favored? USCjr was +10.5 Arkansas was +7.5. Not sure about the others. It's just a down year that the media will blow out of proportion.

The SEC is trash except Bama.
I said the same thing on here about a month ago, and Dobbs 4 Heisman laughed it off, and wanted to see my reaction when the SEC walked over their bowl opponents, and had a great finish to the season.
I posted the records of the SEC teams, except Alabama, against other Power 5 conferences, and stated that there wasn't a team in the SEC except Bama that could win any of those conference championships. I stand by that.

Getting worked up over bowl results by conference is an annual exercise that means absolutely nothing. These teams have different motivation levels, different preparation,. Some have players back from injury. Some players don't want to be there. You never know what is going to come out of the tunnel and it bears little resemblance sometimes to what came out of the tunnel 6 weeks ago.

I concluded the SEC was pretty bad this season long before bowl season came around.

In fact, after thinking about it, im going to kick it up a notch.

This particular year..... SEC basketball> SEC football.

Yeah, i said it.

Kentucky isn't what Bama is at the top. But, ive already seen a few SEC teams legitimately compete against top competition and look like they belonged

Media is gonna media. Several of the big talking heads killed off Saban after losing to Ol Miss last year for the second year in a row. He's done said more than one national guy. Cowherd was the biggest one I remember saying he was done. Finebaum show was blowing up too with callers and guest all doom and gloom about Saban but look at him now...

The media also wrote off the Big 10 a few years ago, but here we are with Big 10 having the best season they've had in a long long time.

For real. I don't give a flip about chanting SEC or what is best for the conference. The program of Tennessee is all I am concerned about. Other teams winning will not help us in recruiting or show that Tennessee is better than the W/L record shows because the SEC is stout. If it did help we would be seeing the reward of it by now.

Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Florida, Auburn, and Alabama can all lose and I wouldn't care one bit.

I'm surprised the SEC typically does so well in bowl season when 7-5 teams get matched up with 9-4 teams, 6-6 teams get matched up with 10-2 teams, etc.

That being said, this is a down year for the SEC.
