Could UT have handled HAWAII???? i will never put money on Fulmer.

Hawaii only played 3 teams with winning records this year...Fresno, Boise, and UGA.

Richt was right to run up the score against Hawaii. Maybe now there will be more reasonable discussion about the lack of merit that an undefeated team from the WAC actually possesses and that Colt Brennan is nothing but a Texas Tech quarterback playing in a far weaker conference (not in the least a future NFL star).

And, yes, UT would have beaten Hawaii. I doubt that Fulmer would have run the score up though...unfortunately.

Thank you, realut for agreeing...Hawaii would've gotten beat by UCF and Kevin Smith..They couldn't even stop teams in the WAC...Wait till the opener next year vs Florida, can you say blowout

Saying Hawaii would have beaten App. St. is pretty questionable. Not only did Hawaii only play 3 teams with winning records (and, Boise St. lost to ECU in their bowl game?!?!) But, they also beat four teams with two wins or less!

The boys from Boone would have definitely given Hawaii a run for their money.

well...they prob feel terrible for going for it on 4th down, but o well, i sure was hoping hawaii would pull it out

most coaches consider it more classy to go for it on 4th down than to kick a chip shot field goal. when i saw them go for it i think it was 4th and goal, so punting makes no sense, and kicking a FG is adding sure points to the board. at least going for it on 4th gives hawaii a chance to keep them from scoring on the drive. only classier move i guess would be to take a knee.

Florida and Arkansas embarrassed the SEC. At least UT and UGA took care of business. Hopefully, lsu blows out ohio state to finish the deal.

I was extremely happy to see GA beat the everliving crap out of Hawaii. I bet somewhere around the 3rd quarter, Junes Jones was saying to himself, "The Hawaii Bowl sounds pretty good right about now."

Hawaii got exposed; they are obviously not a legitimate BCS team.

That would have been my preference, but I agree that Hawaii is not BCS quality. I wouldn't bet a lot against Appy State if they could play Hawaii.

At least UT held up its end this year in the bowls. Expected Ark to lose, but not FL. We can still be the best of the major conferences if LSU comes through.

I hate Ohio State, almost as bad as Bama.
