SEC freshman running backs

Wait and see my man......wait and see. Chubb is very very good......but I would bet that fournette is by far the better pro prospect. Wow, what a blend of size and speed! Fournette is a once in a generation type back.

Why are Chubbs stats so much better then Fournette's if he is a once in a generation back? That's a ridiculous statement and you know it.

According to each teams respective website that lists the stats for both RB's:

Hurd had -39 yards lost this year on negative carries. (Despite getting blown up at or behind the line of scrimmage on what my eyes say " a lot")

Chubb had -47 yards lost this year on negative carries.

How's the vodka in Kosovo? My aim was to admonish you for your loose "homer" crap when the poster was defending Hurd over the comments of those who were unfavorably comparing him to Chubb and Fournette. If you call people names in person as you do on this site, I'm sure you're popular with your dentist. Re-read which poster you were shallowly insulting. Happy New Year.

Lol. Bless your heart.

It is a ridiculous statement but I don't think he knows it 😊

They didn't play the same schedule. Last night, Louisville flat out quit. I'll promise uou, and I will be here to remind all of you in two years, fournette is this generation's Adrian Peterson. Much more fluid athlete than either Hurd or Chubb. Hurd is very stiff and doesn't have very quick feet in traffic. He is a bulldozer......but doesn't have much wiggle. Fournette can change directions on a dime. Hurd is going to be a multiple thousand yard rusher, but he will be a four year back. Chubb is a bruiser who nobody wants to tackle. Those guys don't show up much in the nfl. He's like Richardson at Bama.

Isn't Adrian Peterson the Adrian Peterson of this generation.

Fournette is already built like an All-Pro running back. The dude is huge and fast. He gets to rotate and split carries and it'll save his body for the pros.

IMO, Chubb has better vision, but does not have his top end speed. Though I could be wrong. Just going off the eye test. Chubb also has games where he carries the ball entirely too many times and has taken a beating. IMO, 33 carries is too many for a bowl game.

Hurd, needs his body to develop a little more and once the UT O-Line improves, he will be special.

The future is bright for all 3.

I agree 10000 thousand percent.....they're all good, but only vol homers would say Hurd is the best. Fournette has a rare blend of size,speed,wiggle......like Jamal. Hurd has skills but lots of work to do.

Olines make a big difference. Think Chubb or Michel will have big year next if Chubb gets hurt look for Michel to have 1500 their line is that good. They lose their center their Captain on line but everybody else back. Think Fournette or Hurd would had 1500 behind this line. I guess why UGA is RB U.
It did surprise me when Chubb broke through crowded D line and got ran down at about 10 yard line. Thought he was one of top 100 dashers in Ga. I think he beat E Berry couple times.
Those 2 guys chasing him down didn't have to carry a football.

Yeah Louisville quit because they got tired of getting run over by Chubb.

See you chose to use Richardson as your example instead of Eddie Lacy (bruiser) who is averaging right at 1500 rushing/receiving yards per season. What about Le'Veon Bell (bruiser)? He's showing up in the NFL.

Look I have no problem saying Fournette is potentially a very good back but to say he is once in a generation just doesn't hold water. What generation is DeMarco Murray? Todd Gurley?

No he isn't.....he is a tad better maybe than Riggs and Ced houston. He is not Webb,Lewis,Cobb, garner level. He's too tall to possess their skill set. He is unique, catches tge ball well, and has lots of good qualities, but he is not elite. He is very good though.

TE?

Lol.....please tell me you think Hurd is better. I love unobjective homers. Fournette has the potential to be a very good back. The dud will own the sec next season, he and Dobbs will be all the talk next year.

Hurd is a good, solid back, and hopefully will get better, but he hasn't really had any kind of a breakout game yet ,where he has gained a ton of yards.

He certainly does not look as good tome at this point as some of the other ones mentioned. Our line isn't very good, but he just looks competent to me so far, but not spectacular.

What amazes me is that they were able to recruit and sign all 4 of these guys.....Gurley, Marshall, Chubb and Michel. And they've always had 2 or 3 NFL caliber RB's on their roster it seems. Same for Bama. They're somehow able to get these guys to sign knowing they'll have to wait their turn. Incredible job of recruiting. I keep waiting for yet another 5 star RB to announce for UGA any moment.

I can seriously see Marshall transferring. I think Chubb is better than a healthy Marshall and Michel was ranked higher than Chubb before he got hurt against us.

I've not said anything about Hurd and feel no need to compare the two players. Funny you love unobjective homers but then go on to say Dobbs will be the talk of the SEC next year. How about next time actually respond to the post you quote instead of spewing more mindless drivel.
