SEC Football: Bold Predictions for 2016 Fall Camp | Bleacher Report

You'll Hear a Lot About Preston Williams

Tennessee needs a spark in its downfield passing attack, and sophomore Preston Williams is the most likely candidate to provide it.
The 6'4", 209-pound native of Georgia caught seven passes for 158 yards and two touchdowns during an injury-riddled true freshman season for a Tennessee team that tried everything it could do find some stability at wide receiver.
In the spring game, though, he had three catches for 77 yards and looked every bit like the superstar he was once touted to be. In mid-July, head coach Butch Jones mentioned Williams as a "bright spot," according to Dustin Dopirak of the Knoxville News Sentinel.
You're going to hear about Williams taking on more responsibilities within the offense this August. The focus will be on the different ways Jones and offensive coordinator Mike DeBord will use him and how much of a mismatch he is for opposing defensive backs.

I predict Preston is going to show out this season. The kid has all the tools to be special.

In looking forward to the day when highly recruited kids comes in plays like it. I hate putting pressure on them, but anywhere else in cfb I see players coming in and delivering. Now that there's a good supporting cast in every position we should see guys have an easier time

#5 on their list was that Mecole Hardman would start both ways immediately for the dawgs. I have to admit I kinda snickered at this. If he does, that means they've got some thin spots in their secondary and wideout positions.

Yeah because players like Hurd, Kamara, Kirkland, TKjr, Berry, Barnett, Tuttle (before cheap shot injury) etc... just don't seem to be delivering.... SMDH

Or he's just that special.

I think Mecole has Antonio Brown ability as a WR.

Lets hope Georgia is stupid enough to play him mostly at corner.

No no you misunderstood and I did a terrible job explaining what I meant. Actually, the guys you mentioned are exactly why I was excited about Butch when he was in his 2nd year bc HIS players were developing so well as FR... I just meant that every year I kept hearing from Bama fans and the likes say "we've got new guys coming in that are just as good as starters" while UT was always bringing in highly rated players that were underachieving (mostly due to coaching). All around the country you had these FR coming in and wowing people yet it seems our big stars take longer... But I guess the more blue chip filled your roster jaw,the less you notice when one falls by the wayside.

Also guys came into a subpar roster with subpar coaching. Hard to excel with that helping you.
