The idea that the SEC an impossibly challenging environment took a hit tonight. LSU has now won the conference three times this decade. They have also won two national championships and four BCS bowls. The SEC has won three national championships this decade.

I don't expect Tennessee to mirror this kind of success. However, there is no reason we can't approach it. The aspirations for the incoming crop of coaches should be much higher than what UT has accomplished this century.

Way to go LSU and the SEC! It was nice to hear the LSU fans chanting SEC - SEC - SEC towards the end of the game.

Yeah.. since hiring Saban (2000) and Miles (2005), LSU is 82-21 overall, with two National Championships, three SEC championships, and at least three BCS bowls I can think of....

Not bad for a 7 year stretch.

I guess I would take that.

Yeah - but some people here consider it dumb for us to expect at least an SECC every few years and be upset when it never happens.

I LOVE IT. I wish it could have been 56-0, but 38-17 works (last TD doesn't count).

If only UF didn't play their worst game of the year against Michigan......3-0 against the Big Ten would have been so sweet.

7-2 overall in the Bowls with a second consecutive national championship. There can be no question now that the SEC is King.

I am upset with every loss. I know everybody loses, but we are tennessee and we are supposed to win championships. No SEC's since 98 is awful.
