With one year left it appears the team of the decade is Florida which is narrowly beating out LSU. The player rankings are based on their careers while in school during this decade, so the likes of Richard Seymour and Rudi Johnson on the front end, and outstanding freshmen like AJ Green and Julio Jones on the back end of the decade are not considered. And with 9 of the 10 years done most of the player rankings will not change for the final list next year.

Rex Grossman was better than Chris Leak. Shaud Williams is too high. Jo Addai is really good, but I don't think he really did all that much in college. I wouldn't put Percy Harvin at #1, either. If Artose Pinner is on the list, I've got to think Rafael Little would be there, too.

Overall, pretty good list. This seems like a tough task, so I don't mean to be too critical.

I don't know about that list of kickers...

Dante Stallworth and Tyrone Prothro don't make that list, but Derrick Abney does???

Pinner led the SEC in rushing his senior year.

I wouldn't have put Abney in so high as a WR for UK. Keenan Burton or Steve Johnson were probably better as WRs.

Yeah, I know Pinner was pretty good, but Little had one jillion all purpose yards and won two bowl games. I don't think Pinner ever did that.

I also don't think the 2007 UGA team is the tenth best. Obviously they had a good record, but there were more than 10 teams in the last decade that would have absolutely demolished them.

The year he went crazy and had a banner year, we went 7-5 but were on probation and ineligible to bowl.

I agree, Little was a good little back. I just loved watching Pinner pound out the yards. He was a beast.

5. Georgia 2003: 277 ypg, (#4 nation), 14.5 ppg (#4 nation)

I never really thought of the SEC west having better defenses but I would agree with this list.
