So who do we think wins it at this point? UT fizzled down the stretch so recency bias might give it to Beamer who finished the strongest, but it’s hard to see an 8-4 coach winning it. I think that’s possible, though. Brain Kelly probably disqualified himself with that blowout loss to a bad A&M team. Kirby’s to lose at this point with an undefeated year? That would be my guess at this point. I think Kirby or Beamer.

Yeah i mean Kirby doesnt have to do much to win games with all that talent. Otherwise Saban would have won it every year for 15 years if it was just based on wins and losses. I think considering the context, CJH should win but he wont. That Carolina blowout is too fresh still right now. Recency bias is really a thing.

Should go to Heupel. In two years, he took a toilet level program from the sewer to, short as it was, a number one ranking. Thence to a 10-2 season. And he did it with a team whose defense leaked like a sieve. Then, you look at the team's ridiculous stats in light of all previously mentioned. It literally boggles the mind. His not being COY would be a colossal travesty.

Who was predicted to win the SEC. Georgia. They performed as expected. They give trophies for doing your job? I would think the trophy winners would be those that excel and push there teams beyond what was predicted. Kirby didn't do that.

It’ll be between CJH and BK. UGA was expected to be this good, all Kirby had to do was resist his urges to be cute on gameday and screw it up.

If its between CJH and BK then Big Josh should win without question. Better record and dominant head to head win.
