We would get to practice till January 8th though, that would be solid.

:good!: That would be huge for this team and the 2012 season. Any bowl game and the possibility of seven wins would be a major accomplishment for this team and coaching staff.

I don't care where we go, I just want to go. The extra practice is very much needed for this young team!

Low is wrong. If TN ends up 6-6 (and beats UK making them 6-6) TN will be in the Music City Bowl. MC bowl has wanted TN for years, and won't pass up the chance to get the home state team. Think outback picking UF over us, to get the gator fans to attend.

I live in Nashville and I don't think the Music City Bowl wants UT at all (if they have their choice). We would pack the stadium, but wouldn't bring as much revenue to the city as a traveling fanbase would.

Cmon Cmpass bowl. I live 20-25 mins from Legion Field and my buddy always gets free tickets to stuff in Bham. He said he could hook us up

The Compass Bowl?
That's an even worse name than the Papa John's Bowl.
Could a bowl game be any more ignominious?

:lolabove: Good one.

That being said. I'll take it in a heartbeat. This team getting to a bowl game after starting 2-6 would be huge. I don't care what bowl they go to. We need the extra practices and it would pay dividends next year.

They are already buying ad time on knoxville radio. They want UT if we are 6-6.

If we win out, including the bowl game, we would finish the season a very hot team(5 wins in a row). Would help tremendously in recruiting and preperation for next season. Man I hope this happens.

I live in Nashville, and I promise they would love to have the Vols. They took vandy and most of their fans live literally down the road.

If we go to compass bowl who would be some teams we could be playing?

It will be either Liberty or Music City. Those bowls know that they only have limited chances to take UT and they will jump at the opportunity.

If we are winning it will be because we have an explosive air attack which produces points and good viewer ratings.
