SEC adds Gator Bowl for next season

On Jacksonville radio this morning, they said it will be SEC vs. Big 10 in future Gator Bowls. I searched the Internet and found that the SEC and Independence Bowl are parting ways.

That's quite an exchange for the SEC: Independence for Gator.

Looking forward to the SEC coming to Jacksonville every NYD!

Yeah, at least that way at least somebody can sell-out that stadium. Because the Jags attendance was putrid last week against the Titans. Although it did not stop them from embarassing them. lol

Right now it seems the only way to fill the Gator Bowl is for UF and UGA to play. The Jaguars' attendance is awful. I'm starting to wonder when the "Jaguars to Los Angeles" rumors are going to start, if they haven't already.

I do wonder, though, why the conference would keep the lower paying Pizza Bowl in equally undesirable Birmingham and lose Shreveport. Did the Weedeater drop the SEC?
