SEC/ACC Challenge 2025

Three teams atleast have scored 80+ points against Duke. Acting like LSU did anything special by scoring almost a hundred points on a 3-6 Duke team when LSU played starters the entire 4th qtr is comical.

flaujae crap talking lawson after hitting a three is a bad look…

Benching Johnson in AmeriCup was a bad look. Lawson can’t coach her way out of a wet paper sack.

I’m not a fan of a player running their mouth at a coach, but Lawson is reaping what she’s sowed there. Was personal for 4 today.

Their attendance has been awful. Columbia is a pretty tight knit community and Robin was a popular local figure for many years. A lot of their longtime fans were not happy with the change.
Kellie had the same thing happen at NCST. When Kay Yow's known choice to take over the program was ignored and their AD hired Kellie instead, Harper got the proverbial cold shoulder from the Yow/longtime Wolfpack loyalists. I could understand being upset that Kay's wishes were ignored, but man. Kellie was shunned like a leper, and I felt she didn't deserve that. 😔

You. Must. Win.
Period. Expectations are hard.
/points to bones of former unsuccessful coaches under bleachers

13 to 3 is a big win for the SEC with some of the games being closer than expected. Sc and Louisville was a surprise and I really thought Duke would play a better game against LSU at home. Looks like they might be sitting out the NCAA tourney. LSU and Texas are certainly big players for the SEC title this season.

The challenge was so much fun to watch. So many good close games, so much drama. It was almost like a mini March Madness and now it feels like the real season is underway.

I could have done without Louisville looking quite that good. LVs really need to win that game. Lets enter the SEC gauntlet with a ranked win.

Nielle Ivy what in their world have you let happen? No individual player is that good. Not worth destroying what you had going before HH

The attendance for most of the games where non-top teams played at home was -poor.

I enjoyed watching the games involving equally "matched" teams, many good games for a fan just a fan.

It will be important in the SEC to win home-games. and to not wear out over the months of January- February. all good anticipation

WBB attendance is so weird. Either it's a couple of hundred stragglers scattered around the arena or it's a legit great crowd like a few programs, including ours, are lucky to get. There's just no middle ground.

I thought the crowd at Louisville last night was amazing and loud. Glad we're playing them on a neutral site.

Most of the top teams are getting great crowds. A few exceptions like UCLA, but if you have a good team fans will come.

Nice wins for both Missouri and Ole Miss. Those are the type games both of them usually lose. I spent half the Mizzu/ Cal game wondering why Marta wasn't playing. Finally remembered she transferred to TCU. Who can keep up?

Just me or is Cotie McMahon a really unlikable player?

Cotie? She brings to mind terms I refuse to utter, yet the thoughts are there, so guilty.

Man LSU always gets away with taunting stuff. Running her mouth to the opposing coach after she hit a 3. Barker got a tech when she made the 3 sign to the opposing bench at NC state. Unreal. I realize Johnson had issues with Kara over USA basketball this summer and I like when players are fiery, but I think that’s a little too far

Muffets last season: 13-18
Ivey’s first three years:
10-10* Covid, 24-9, 27-6^Conf. Champs

I didn't forget Notre Dame finished 1st place and was the regular season champs the before HH got there. The ACC only officially recognizes the tournament champion as the conference champion (which ND won HH's freshman season and Miles missed because of an ACL injury.
