I ordered season tickets this year, and we ordered seatbacks and I just got an email from IMG seating asking me to confirm the location of my seats, because they did not have a location in their database. I've checked everything out, and it seems legit. However, I'd like to hear from you guys and see if anybody else has gotten this email this year before.

Thanks, and as always, Go Vols!

This Neyland, the most feared stadium in the world... and you're asking about seat backs? they need to require standing and shove as many people into that Wonder as they can.

Haha, I can't necessarily disagree with this statement. But...occasionally, when we're up by 30, I like to sit down, eat a hotdog, and enjoy the talent off the field.

If you added seat backs last week they were 44.00 per seat. Starting Monday they went to 55.00 a seat. Nickel and dime.......nickel and dime....

I did it months ago, so we got the $44 rate. I just wanted to check the legitimacy of the email.

Is this the first year you have ordered them? I think I had to confirm the first year I ordered them. I remember the first game one year, after I had had them a few years....they had put them one row off. But they gave me credit for that game...woohoo!! and corrected by next home game

I have one for my girlfriend, never order 2 side by side because they will lock you in a 28" seat with for 2..

Can someone who has ordered online please tell me how you got past the first step? After I entered the season ticket account number, it doesn't give me any option to select quantity or anything else. When I click next it tells me I have to enter info, but won't allow me to.

Enjoy your seat backs because you just irritated everyone on your row and the row behind you.

Why? So, we can actually claim the seat numbers we pay thousands of dollars for year in and year out, without people's big asses covering ours? So, maybe just maybe people won't walk on the seats after stepping in the spilled coke and pizza they just carelessly stepped in and don't have the common decency of walking on the concrete verses our seats as we stand?

Nope.........we have seats 4,5 and 6. When we get to our seats people are in them because the folks to the left or right don't know how to sit on their seat number and it naturally scoots everyone over either direction. If you line your crack up centered over the seat number we wouldn't have this issue............

You sound like a real joy to sit around at a football game. It's a stadium and you are sitting on bleachers. People are gonna step on your seat, jostle you, spill things on you and occasionally, they may even slide into your space. Most of us learned in kindergarten how to get along with folks around us and work it out.

Lighten up Francis and enjoy the season.

You sound exactly like the person who is sliding into seats you didn't pay for, thus making it neccesary for people to purchase these seat backs to stake claim to their seat.

So you suggest we stand in the stadium steps aisle the whole game because we don't have our seats we pay for?

It's aisle, not isle.

Nope, I'm suggesting you work it out like an adult and ask the person to move or scoot over which ever is necessary. I just have never understood people who whine about the conditions they have to endure at a ball game. It's gonna be hot some days, it's gonna be cold and/or raining at others, people will step on your toes, bump into you and even spill drinks on your. Most of us sit on bleachers and don't need padded cushions and seat backs to make the day more enjoyable.

Hudson, you sound like someone who brings their own pom-poms to the games.

madbamahatter (bama fan?): Originally, I was just making an offhand remark about the seat backs and cushions b/c a lot of folks in my section complain about one huge couple who block two entire Isles (or aisles). None of it really bothers me and then since it's a slow day, I was just picking at you. Didn't know it would go to all of this. Enjoy your season and I hope the cushion helps.:mf_surrender:

Sweet burn, bro. You may want to take your own adivce and "lighten up Francis." You seem to get awfully defensive when called out, maybe message boards aren't for you.

You have figured me out. I take all of this very seriously and I don't mind going back to prison. :thud:

Before you call the police, read my post above your last post.

In all seriousness, he has a point. It's pretty danged (hope I spelt that right) irritating to not be able to sit in your seat because half of the people on your row are 2 seat widths in size or have unrecoverable man-spread. "Seat Backs?" Yes Please!
