Feeling a little “left out” here...only contribute at the Mountaineer Level...but my rank is 1702—haven‘t received anything via email since Thursday (telling me to wait).
What did your email Thursday state? Did anyone else get this who didn't get a ticket offer yet? thanks!

The email indicated they would reassign seats based on giving level and TN Fund rank WITHIN the giving level (parking assignments are done this way). And...it might take 2-3 weeks to complete the process as they progressed through each level of giving (?). A recent poster said his regular seats were in Section T and he’d gotten his reassignment. My normal seats are in nearby Section V—so, hopefully my reassignment will arrive by mid week. The process may have moved me to the upper deck by then—but I’ll take ‘em.

This remindes me of the old "golden" rule. He who has the gold makes the rules. I just hope I get tickets. If I don't, I will watch all the games on TV and get my tickets next year and save a couple thousands $$$ that I can use to but some new batteries and tires for the golf cart.

My plan exactly. I really don't care if I get bad seats. To be honest, I'm in the cheapest donation level now, so anywhere else besides my seat will be an upgrade. Key is, have a good set of binoculars. I'd rather be high up than low. Those end zone seats almost field level are awesome when there is a goal line stand on that end of the field, or if the receiver ends up in your lap after his big TD catch, however it's tough to tell down and distance when at the other end. I'd rather be in the nose bleed with the binos.

I recently purchased some real boomer looking gear to wear to the games - a trucker hat that says "Run the damn ball", and some industrial weed eater radio headphones, that block out the noise. So with social distancing, it won't be quite as loud so if I get tickets, just traditional earbuds.

Yes, getting myself psychologically prepared to watch this whole season on TV. Maybe I'll still wear the hat and the headphones in my living room, just because.

50 plus year season ticket holder but low priority donation.
Will be first time missing game in Neyland since holding season tickets
I hope you get tickets. It's the people like you who should be rewarded after years of loyalty and not these johnny-come-latelys who have only been going 10 years of less. Athletic Dept. really dropped the ball on how they did this. in my opinion.

It's not the worst system.

NCSU cancelled all season ticket sales and will only sale individual games. However, if you let them keep your annual donation and season ticket fee, they'll give you priority to buy single game tickets but you're not guaranteed anything.

It probably won't make a difference but you may want to send a real written letter (not email) to Fulmer explaining your situation and asking if there's any way you could get the opportunity to buy tickets for at least one game. If they ever adjust the seating limits up later in the year, you may be able to get the opportunity to buy a game or two.

Similar to my situation. I took over my Father's tickets, which he first got in 1933, in the late 1960s. I was grandfathered into those seats but I did donated $$ to the Athletic Program for a number of years. However, I remarried and when I soon had 2 kids in college and 2 in daycare at the same time. I could no longer afford the extra donation. My tickers were in Section S and were very good seats. Then a few years ago, they decided that I would have do make an annual donation to retain my seats. I could not do that so they moved me to the Section Q in the end zone. My seats are OK, but nowhere near as good as the seats from which I was moved. Their greed has not lowered my love for Tennessee football and other sports, but their greed has made me stop my donations to the Athletic Department. I doubt that I will get tickets this year, but I will continue to watch Tennessee sports. My Father and one of my sons have letters from Tennessee. One of my brothers played basketball at Tennessee and the other one played football at the University of California.
At my age and living on a fixed income, I doubt I will ever contribute any more money to the Athletic Program. If I get tickets, great. If I don't, I don't. The World will not come to an end any earlier.

Post pics, or it didn't happen.
It would look something like this.. except I'm 63. (you pushed my skills here...lol all images public domain from google search. If this is your man cave, apologies)

Edit- I bought this stuff to embarrass my kids. I think, in that regards, I hit the boomer home run.

Anyone who has been donating the last 10 years at a high level thru the Kiffen, Dooley and Butch years who also helped stop Shitano should be thought of a little better than this post.

I'm a "newbie" compared to you. This would have been my 45th year of being a season ticket holder and evidently a low priority donator, too. After graduation, lived in KY, SC, DC, IL, IN, TX, and now Nashville. Kept the tickets and came to games. Know the interstate system well. Flew in from TX with the kids for the big games on frequent flyer points since it was just a little bit too far to drive on a weekend. Both kids are UT grads and married to UT grads so we have our own little cheering section. Been going to games at Neyland since 1968. Will miss not being there after 52 years but I'll get over it. GBO!

I didn't get this message, so I'm assuming I'm still in the boarding area (overbooked flight airport metaphor) awaiting someone to give up their seat. Did you get this in an email? If so, I think you are:

Very surprised to also get one since I'm almost #9000 on donor list. Don't give up.

Yeah, I got it in an email about 20 minutes ago.

WIth the second sentence, I took it as first round over, second round underway (which I would have gotten a different email if I was in that), and maybe I'm in the third round and should get another email in 7-10 days.

Anyway, I checked my account and nothing new there

I'm 9762. My plan is that if I don't get the tickets, defer to next year, and use the money to get a little better TV.
