I’ll go 24-7, just cause we always lose a few bs games we should’ve won. & I really think Ja’kobi will be one of if not the best PG in the country next year. I really believe in the big men core, they will be a force & I think Ament will be as advertised. Will be a 2/3 seed as usual

I get some sort of feeling we will be somewhere between the 2020 team (Springer/Keon) and 2021 team with Chandler.

Won’t give an overall record, but I think 3-5 seed in the tourney. Will depend on how Abram and Burg play, imo. We have Gill, Ament, Okpara and Carey…everyone else is kinda TBD.

Hopefully Cade and JP take the next step as well.

I think this is accurate, although I’m taking an optimistic outlook in that I think Abram and Burg will play well and give solid play at the 2G. This team will be better than that 21 team was by March, even if the regular season isn’t as successful.

I also think those pundits picking us around the 12th best team in America are forgetting (as they often do) that Rick Barnes teams always play great defense. This team will also play great team defense.

12th would be one of the better projections of what I've seen. I keep seeing low teens and sometimes worse. Borzello had us in the 20s. Not a lot of national belief in this squad from the pundits. Computers are a little more optimistic, but generally still in the mid to upper teens.

I picked 23-8. SEC is loaded once again. I could see us struggling early with so many new pieces and then coming on extremely hot late in the season
Well, the schedule is certainly not as front loaded as it could be. I could see it being a lot like this years baseball, where after 6-7 games were getting #1 buzz and stats thru the roof etc. But, it's because we have a weak OOC early. Baseball sat at #1 but I kept noticing that we played no good teams.
This is a good schedule for a rebuilt team IMO. Maybe our team will get seated in the groove then. But after 6-7 games we'll find out what we really are because it gets real then.

With our schedule layout, after 3 or 4 weeks in we could be undefeated and a top 5. It will of course be smoke and mirrors and hype, ESPN lives off that stuff. But our stats and winning margins will probably make us look like the number one team in the country. Hopefully after the gauntlet, will be hanging in the top 10 and top five maybe. But we shall see.

There’s almost a zero statistical probability that we’ll be in the top five after a month.

I think you're probably right only because I'm not sure we start high enough to navigate that much distance with our early OOC schedule. We'd have to go undefeated which would include wins over Houston and another really strong team in the Vegas tournament. Possible, but a lot has to go our way. Several top-10s would have to suffer early season losses, too.
